Claims (20)
- 1.廃水から溶存金属を除去する方法であって、アルカリ性表面活性を有する有 効量の粒子で廃水を処理して、粒子の表面に溶存金属を沈殿させ、段階(a)か らの処理済み廃水の一部を有効量のアルカリ性試薬で処遇して、段階(a)から の処理済み廃水の一部にアルカリ性表面活性を付与し、 有効量のアルカリ性表面活性粒子を含む段階(b)からのアルカリ処理した廃水 の一部を、段階(a)に再循環させ、 段階(b)で用いなかった段階(a)からの処理済みの廃水の残りの部分を分離 して、粒子を実質的に含まない水成分と、粒子と水とから成るスラッジ成分とす る、段階から成る方法。
- 2.段階(a)の粒子がヒドロキシル基と溶存金属の沈澱した水酸化物化合物と を含む、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。
- 3.段階(d)の分離が濃縮段階をも含む、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。
- 4.廃水から溶存金属を除去する方法であって、アルカリ性表面活性を有する有 効量の粒子で廃水を処理して、粒子の表面に溶存金属を沈澱させ、段階(a)か らの処理済み廃水の一部を有効量のアルカリ性試薬で処理して、段階(a)から の処理済み廃水の一部にアルカリ性表面活性を付与し、 有効量のアルカリ性表面活性粒子を含む段階(b)からのアルカリ処理した廃水 の一部を、段階(a)に再循環させ、 段階(b)で用いなかった段階(a)からの処理済みの廃水の残りの部分を分離 して、粒子を実質的に含まない水成分と、粒子と水とから成るスラッジ成分とし 、段階(d)からのスラッジ成分の一部を有効量のアルカリ性試薬で処理して、 粒子にアルカリ性表面活性を付与し、 アルカリ性表面活性粒子を含む段階(e)からの処理済みのスラッジ成分の部分 を段階(a)に再循環させる、段階から成る方法。
- 5.段階(b)および(e)のアルカリ性試薬が水に溶解してヒドロキシルイオ ンを形成する水酸化物化合物をも含む請求の範囲第4項に記載の方法。
- 6.両段階(b)および(e)において形成した粒子対廃水中の溶存金属の重量 比が約5:1〜100:1である、請求の範囲第4項に記載の方法。
- 7.廃水から溶存金属を除去する方法であって、アルカリ性表面活性を有する有 効量の粒子で廃水を処理して、粒子の表面に溶存金属を沈澱させ、処理済み廃水 流を水が多い成分と固形物が多い成分とであって、水が多い成分は固形物が多い 成分の粒子の平均粒子サイズよりも小さな平均粒子サイズの再循環粒子を有する ものとに分離し、 段階(c)の水の多い成分をスラッジ成分と実質的に固形物を含まない水成分と に分離し、 スラッジ成分を有効量のアルカリ性試薬で処理して、段階(a)で用いるアルカ リ性表面活性を有する粒子を形成させ、 段階(d)のアルカリ処理したスラッジ成分を、段階(a)に再循環させる、 段階から成る方法。
- 8.段階(a)の粒子が、ヒドロキシルイオンと溶存金属の沈澱水酸化物化合物 をも含む、請求の範囲第7項に記載の方法。
- 9.段階(d)のアルカリ性試薬が、水に溶解してヒドロキシルイオンを形成す る水酸化物化合物をも含む、請求の範囲第7項に記載の方法。
- 10.段階(b)の水の多い成分の一部をアルカリ性試薬の有効量で処理して、 段階(a)で用いられるアルカリ性表面活性を有する粒子を形成させる段階をも 含む、請求の範囲第7項に記載の方法。
- 11.段階(b)をハイドロサイクロンで行う、請求の範囲第7項に記載の方法 。
- 12.段階(b)の固形物が多い成分を実質的に脱水する段階をも含む、請求の 範囲第7項に記載の方法。
- 13.廃水から溶存金属を除去する方法であって、有効量の再循環粒子で廃水を 処理して、再循環粒子の表面に溶存金属を沈澱させ、 処理済み廃水流を水が多い成分と固形物が多い成分とに分離して、水が多い成分 は固形物が多い成分の粒子の平均粒子サイズよりも小さな平均粒子サイズの再循 環粒子を有するようにして、 段階(c)の水の多い成分をスラッジ成分と実質的に固形物を含まない水成分と に分離し、 段階(c)の再循環スラッジ成分の一部を有効量のアルカリ性試薬で処理して、 段階(a)で用いる再循環粒子を形成させ、段階(c)の再循環スラッジ成分の 一部を廃棄する、 段階から成る方法。
- 14.不溶性水酸化物を形成する溶存金属を含む廃水からこの溶存金属を除去す る方法であって、廃水を、不十分な量およびアルカリ度の水で処理して、溶存金 属を不溶性の水酸化物粒子として沈澱させ、処理済み廃水の第一の部分を、この ような固形物粒子を含むスラッジ成分と、水成分とに分離し、処理済み廃水の第 二の部分を段階(a)に再循環させる、段階から成る方法。
- 15.スラッジ成分の少なくとも一部を段階(a)に再循環させることをも含む 、請求の範囲第13項に記載の方法。
- 16.不溶性水酸化物を形成する溶存金属を含む廃水からこの溶存金属を除去す る方法であって、廃水の流れを不十分な量およびアルカリ度のアルカリ水で処理 して、溶存金属を不溶性の水酸化物粒子として沈澱させ、 処理済み流れの第一の部分を、前記処理段階に再循環させ、 処理済み流れの第二の部分を不溶性の金属水酸化物を含んで成る第一の画分と清 浄化した廃水を含んで成る第二の画分とに分離する、 段階から成る方法。
- 17.第二の画分の一部を前記処理段階に再循環させる段階をも含む、請求の範 囲第15項に記載の方法。
- 18.比較的小さな粒子サイズの前記の金属水酸化物粒子を優先的に濃縮して、 前記の第一の部分とし、比較的大きな粒子サイズの前記の粒子を前記の部分に濃 縮する段階をも含む、請求の範囲第15項に記載の方法。
- 19.優先的な分離の段階が廃水の処理済み流をハイドロクローニングすること から成る、請求の範囲第15項に記載の方法。
- 20.前記の再循環した第一の部分を、前記の処理段階の前に、前記のアルカリ 水と混合する段階をも含む、請求の範囲第15項に記載の方法。
