Description
Claims (15)
- 動作時に、光を発するように構成される光源であって、前記光源は、発光面を含む、光源と、
上面、下面及び前記上面と前記下面との間に延びる光インカップリングエッジを含むライトガイドと、
を備える、発光デバイスであって、
平面が、前記ライトガイドの前記上面及び前記下面の少なくとも一方に平行に延びるものとして定義され、
前記光源及び前記ライトガイドは、前記光源の前記発光面及び前記ライトガイドの前記光インカップリングエッジが互いに向き合い、前記ライトガイドの前記光インカップリングエッジが前記平面に対して第1の角度で延び、前記光源の前記発光面が前記平面に対して第2の角度で延び、前記第1の角度及び前記第2の角度の少なくとも一方が90°未満であるように配置され、
当該発光デバイスは、前記光源によって発せられる光のうち、前記ライトガイド内にカップリングされない及び/又は前記ライトガイドの前記上面から漏れる部分を、前記平面に対して鋭角に前記ライトガイドから離れて前記上面の上方を伝搬する集束光ビームに整形するように配置及び構成される線形屈折及び/又は反射光学要素を備える、発光デバイス。 - 当該発光デバイスは、前記ライトガイドの上側に配置され、前記光源によって発せられ、前記ライトガイドの前記上面を介して前記ライトガイドの前記上面から漏れる及び/又は前記ライトガイドからアウトカップリングされる光の部分を下方向にリダイレクトし、集束させるように構成される反射プレート要素を備える、請求項1に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記ライトガイドの厚さは、前記光源の前記発光面の幅よりも小さい、請求項1又は2に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記第1の角度は、90°に等しい、請求項3に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記ライトガイドの厚さは、2.2mmであり、前記光源の前記発光面の幅は、3mmである、請求項3又は4に記載の発光デバイス。
- 当該発光デバイスは、前記下面の方向に前記ライトガイドから光をアウトカップリングするように配置及び構成される光学要素又はドットを備える、請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の発光デバイス。
- 当該発光デバイスは、前記光源によって発せられ、前記ライトガイドの前記上面を介して前記ライトガイドからアウトカップリングされる光の部分の少なくとも一部を、前記光源の方に戻る方向にリダイレクトするように配置及び構成されるリフレクタ、拡散リフレクタ、反射光学要素又は再帰反射光学要素を備える、請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の発光デバイス。
- 当該発光デバイスは、前記ライトガイドの前記光インカップリングエッジに又は前記ライトガイドの前記光インカップリングエッジに隣接して前記ライトガイドの前記上面に又は前記ライトガイドの前記上面内に配置される光アウトカップリング要素を備える、請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記光源の前記発光面は、前記平面に対して傾斜している、請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記ライトガイドの前記光インカップリングエッジは、前記平面に対して傾斜している、請求項9に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記第1の角度は、前記第2の角度と異なる、請求項1乃至10のいずれか一項に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記第1の角度(α)は、90°≧α≧0°の区間、又は、90°≧α≧45°の区間にある、請求項1乃至11のいずれか一項に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記第2の角度(β)は、90°>β≧0°の区間、又は、90°>β≧45°の区間にある、請求項1乃至12のいずれか一項に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記光源は、光学的に透明なはんだ付け、光学的に透明な接着剤、機械的保持デバイス、及び前記光源と前記ライトガイドとの間にエアギャップが形成されるように配置される機械的保持デバイスのうちの1つ以上を用いて前記ライトガイドの前記光インカップリングエッジに取り付けられる、請求項1乃至13のいずれか一項に記載の発光デバイス。
- 請求項1乃至14のいずれか一項に記載の発光デバイスを含むランプ、照明器具又は照明具。
