Description
Claims (4)
- 内燃機関の燃焼安定度を示す指標を求め、この燃焼安定度に基づいて排気還流率を補正する内燃機関の制御方法において、
上記指標に基づき燃焼安定度が安定状態に相当する所定レベルを満たしているかどうかを判定し、
燃焼安定度が所定レベルを満たしていると判定した場合は、所定サイクル数経過毎に排気還流率を所定量ずつ増加補正し、
燃焼安定度が所定レベルを満たしていないと判定したときは直ちに排気還流率を所定量減少補正し、
内燃機関が一定の運転点に留まっている間、燃焼安定度に基づく排気還流率の減少補正が行われた場合は、当該運転点におけるその後の燃焼安定度に基づく排気還流率の増加補正を禁止する、内燃機関の制御方法。 - 排気還流率を所定量減少補正した後、燃焼安定度が所定レベルを満たしていない状態が所定サイクル数継続したら、排気還流率をさらに所定量減少補正する、請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御方法。
- サイクル毎に燃焼安定度が所定レベルを満たしているかどうかを判定し、
燃焼安定度が所定レベルを満たしているサイクルが所定サイクル数継続したら排気還流率を所定量増加補正し、
あるサイクルで燃焼安定度が所定レベルを満たしていない場合は直ちに排気還流率を所定量減少補正し、
この減少補正後、燃焼安定度が所定レベルを満たしていないサイクルが所定サイクル数継続したら排気還流率をさらに所定量減少補正する、
請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関の制御方法。 - 排気還流制御弁を有する排気還流装置と、内燃機関の燃焼安定度に関連する回転変動もしくは筒内圧を検出する少なくとも1つのセンサと、燃焼安定度に基づいて排気還流装置の排気還流率を補正するコントローラと、を備え、
上記コントローラは、
回転変動もしくは筒内圧に基づき燃焼安定度が安定状態に相当する所定レベルを満たしているかどうかを判定し、
燃焼安定度が所定レベルを満たしていると判定した場合は、所定サイクル数経過毎に排気還流率を所定量ずつ増加補正し、
燃焼安定度が所定レベルを満たしていないと判定したときは直ちに排気還流率を所定量減少補正し、
内燃機関が一定の運転点に留まっている間、燃焼安定度に基づく排気還流率の減少補正が行われた場合は、当該運転点におけるその後の燃焼安定度に基づく排気還流率の増加補正を禁止する、内燃機関の制御装置。
