Description
Claims (7)
- クランク室および変速装置室を有するクランクケースと、
前記クランクケースに設けられ、かつシリンダーボアを有するシリンダーと、
前記クランク室内に設けられて回転自在に支持されるクランクシャフトと、
前記クランクケース内に設けられ、かつ前記クランクシャフトから伝達される動力で内燃機関の振動を低減させるバランサー機構と、
前記変速装置室に収容され、前記クランクシャフトの回転を変速して出力する変速装置と、を備え、
前記バランサー機構は、
前記クランクシャフトから伝達される動力で回転するアイドラーギヤと、
前記アイドラーギヤよりも前記シリンダーボアから遠い位置に配置され、かつ前記アイドラーギヤから伝達される動力で回転するバランサーと、を備え、
前記変速装置は、
前記クランクシャフトに接続される入力側のカウンターシャフトと、
出力側のドライブシャフトと、
前記カウンターシャフトに支持されるカウンターギヤから前記ドライブシャフトに支持されるドライブギヤへ回転を変速して伝える変速ギヤと、を備え、
前記クランクケースは、前記バランサーを収容し、かつ前記変速装置室に通じるバランサーハウジングを有し、
前記バランサーは、前記カウンターギヤおよび前記ドライブギヤの少なくとも一方の真上に配置され、
前記クランクケースに設けられて前記クランクシャフトおよび前記バランサー機構へ潤滑油を供給する潤滑系統をさらに備え、
前記潤滑系統は、
メインギャラリーと、
前記メインギャラリーから分岐して前記アイドラーギヤへ達するアイドラー潤滑油通路と、
前記メインギャラリーから分岐して前記バランサーへ達するバランサー潤滑油通路と、を有し、
前記潤滑系統は、
前記アイドラー潤滑油通路および前記バランサー潤滑油通路のいずれか一方と共有する第一共有潤滑油通路を有し、かつ前記第一共有潤滑油通路から分岐して前記カウンターシャフトへ達するカウンター潤滑油通路と、
前記アイドラー潤滑油通路および前記バランサー潤滑油通路のいずれか他方と共有する第二共有潤滑油通路を有し、かつ前記第二共有潤滑油通路から分岐して前記ドライブシャフトへ達するドライブ潤滑油通路と、を有する内燃機関。 - 前記バランサーは、前記バランサーハウジングから突出して前記変速装置室内に侵入している請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記バランサーのウェイトは、前記変速ギヤのうち高段側の変速段の前記ドライブギヤの真上に配置されている請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記クランクケースの上面に設けられ、かつ前記シリンダーの後方に配置されるブリーザー室をさらに備え、
前記バランサー潤滑油通路は、前記メインギャラリーから分岐し、かつ前記クランクケースの平面視において前記ブリーザー室を横切って前記バランサーへ達する請求項1に記載の内燃機関。 - 前記バランサー潤滑油通路は、前記ブリーザー室の底壁内を通る請求項4に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記ブリーザー室は、前記内燃機関の側面視において前記バランサーに重なり、
前記クランクケースは、前記バランサーを回転自在に支える一対のバランサー軸受部を有し、
前記バランサー軸受部の一方は、前記ブリーザー室を区画する壁に一体成形されている請求項5に記載の内燃機関。 - 前記バランサー潤滑油通路は、前記クランクケースの左右いずれか一方の側壁を通り、
前記バランサーは、前記アイドラーギヤよりも前記一方の側壁に近い請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
