Description
(1) 少なくとも2個の部位を有する摩擦摺動機構の部位間に配置された第一潤滑剤を有する第一摺動部と、
少なくとも2個の部位を有する摩擦摺動機構の部位間に配置された第二潤滑剤を有する第二摺動部と、
少なくとも2個の部位を有する摩擦摺動機構の部位間に配置された第三潤滑剤を有する第三摺動部と、
を備える摺動部材であって、
第一摺動部は、第三潤滑剤に接触しており、且つ
第二摺動部は、第三潤滑剤に接触しておらず、
第一潤滑剤は、基油と添加剤とを含有し、
第二潤滑剤は、基油と、導電性カーボンを含む添加剤とを含有し、
第三潤滑剤は、基油と添加剤とを含有し、
第三潤滑剤は、導電性カーボンを含有せず、且つ
第二潤滑剤は、第一潤滑剤より相対的に多量の導電性カーボンを含有する、
前記摺動部材。
(2) 第一潤滑剤が、導電性カーボンを含有しない、前記実施形態(1)に記載の摺動部材。
(3) 導電性カーボンが、カーボンブラック、カーボンナノチューブ、カーボンナノホーン、カーボンナノファイバー、グラフェン、及び黒鉛からなる群より選択される、前記実施形態(1)又は(2)に記載の摺動部材。
(4) 第二潤滑剤が、添加剤としてポリテトラフルオロエチレンをさらに含有する、前記実施形態(1)~(3)のいずれかに記載の摺動部材。
(5) 第一潤滑剤及び第二潤滑剤が、増ちょう剤をさらに含有し、且つグリース組成物の形態である、前記実施形態(1)~(4)のいずれかに記載の摺動部材。
(6) 自動車用である、前記実施形態(1)~(5)のいずれかに記載の摺動部材。
(7) 電子制御デファレンシャルである、前記実施形態(6)に記載の摺動部材。
(8) 電子制御カップリングである、前記実施形態(6)に記載の摺動部材。
本発明者らは、複数の摺動部を備える摺動部材において、導電性を付与することに適していない摩擦摺動機構には導電性カーボンを含有しない潤滑剤を配置し、導電性を付与することに適していない摩擦摺動機構の潤滑剤と接触し得る別の摩擦摺動機構には導電性カーボンを実質的に含有しない又は少量の導電性カーボンを含有する潤滑剤を配置し、導電性を付与することに適していない摩擦摺動機構の潤滑剤と接触しないさらに別の摩擦摺動機構には前記潤滑剤より相対的に多量の導電性カーボンを含有する潤滑剤を配置することにより、摺動部材及び該摺動部材を搭載する製品(例えば自動車)の除電及び/又は除電による操縦安定性の向上をすることができ、且つ除電以外の他の機能も効率的に発現することができることを見出した。それ故、本発明の一態様は、摺動部材に関する。
第一潤滑剤は、基油と添加剤とを含有し、
第二潤滑剤は、基油と、導電性カーボンを含む添加剤とを含有し、
第三潤滑剤は、基油と添加剤とを含有し、
第三潤滑剤は、導電性カーボンを含有せず、且つ
第二潤滑剤は、第一潤滑剤より相対的に多量の導電性カーボンを含有する。
第一摺動部は、第三潤滑剤に接触しており、且つ
第二摺動部は、第三潤滑剤に接触していない。
で表される化合物である。式(I)中、R1及びR2は、互いに独立して、置換若しくは非置換のC6~C20アルキル又は置換若しくは非置換のC6~C18アリールであることが好ましく、置換若しくは非置換のC6~C18アリールであることがより好ましく、置換若しくは非置換のフェニルであることがさらに好ましく、R1及びR2がいずれも4-メチルフェニルであることが特に好ましい。本発明の各態様において、R1及びR2が、互いに独立して、置換若しくは非置換のC6~C18アリールである、前記式(I)で表されるジウレア化合物を、「芳香族ジウレア化合物」と記載する場合がある。本実施形態の場合、第一潤滑剤及び/又は第二潤滑剤に含有される増ちょう剤は、ジウレア化合物若しくはリチウム石鹸、又はそれらの混合物であることが好ましく、ジウレア化合物であることがより好ましく、芳香族ジウレア化合物であることがさらに好ましい。前記特徴を有する増ちょう剤を含有することにより、本実施形態の摺動部材において、第一潤滑剤、第二潤滑剤及び/又は第三潤滑剤は、高い流入性を発現することができる。
本発明の別の一態様は、本発明の一態様の摺動部材の製造方法に関する。本態様の方法は、摺動部準備工程、摺動部配置工程、潤滑剤調製工程、及び潤滑剤配置工程を含む。
本発明の別の一態様は、本発明の一態様の摺動部材を搭載する製品(例えば自動車)の操縦安定性を向上させる方法に関する。本態様の方法は、第三摺動部の摩擦摺動機構における少なくとも2個の部位間に第三潤滑剤を適用する工程、第三潤滑剤に接触し得る箇所に配置された第一摺動部の摩擦摺動機構における少なくとも2個の部位間に第一潤滑剤を適用する工程、及び第三潤滑剤に接触し得ない箇所に配置された第二摺動部の摩擦摺動機構における少なくとも2個の部位間に第二潤滑剤を適用する工程を含む。本態様の方法は、場合により所望の箇所に配置されたその他の摺動部の摩擦摺動機構における少なくとも2個の部位間にその他の潤滑剤を適用する工程を含んでもよい。本態様の方法で適用される第一潤滑剤、第二潤滑剤、第三潤滑剤及び場合によりその他の潤滑剤は、前記で説明した特徴を有する潤滑剤である。
基油(パラフィン系鉱油、動粘度:75 mm2/s(40℃))に、増ちょう剤(芳香族ジウレア化合物、4,4'-ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート及びp-トルイジンの反応生成物)、カーボンブラック(一次粒径:10~20 nm)、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE、粒度分布における平均粒径:5 μm)、及びその他の添加剤(酸化防止剤、錆止め剤及び耐摩耗剤)を加えて、3本のロールミルで混練して、実施例1及び比較例1の潤滑剤をグリース組成物の形態として調製した。芳香族ジウレア化合物の構造を下記に示す。実施例1及び比較例1の潤滑剤における各成分の含有量を表1に示す。表中、各成分の含有量は、潤滑剤の総質量に対する質量%として示す。
[混和ちょう度の測定試験]
実施例1及び比較例1の潤滑剤の混和ちょう度を、JIS K2220 7に基づき測定した。その結果、実施例1及び比較例1の潤滑剤の混和ちょう度は、いずれも300であった。
実施例1及び比較例1の潤滑剤を、車軸転がり軸受(JTEKT社製、複列アンギュラ玉軸受を有するハブユニット)に封入した。この車軸転がり軸受を、試験車両の前後及び左右の4輪に組み付けした。試験車両の仕様を表2に示す。
実施例1の潤滑剤において、増ちょう剤の含有量を3質量%、カーボンブラックの含有量を5質量%、PTFEの含有量を10質量%、その他の添加剤の含有量を1.8質量%、基油の含有量を残部に変更した他は前記と同様の条件で、実施例2の潤滑剤を調製した。実施例2の潤滑剤を用いて、前記と同様の条件で試験車両を準備した。
実施例1の潤滑剤において、増ちょう剤の含有量を19質量%、PTFEの含有量を5質量%、その他の添加剤の含有量を1.8質量%、基油の含有量を残部に変更した他は前記と同様の条件で、参考例1の潤滑剤を調製した。実施例1、参考例1及び比較例1の潤滑剤において、放電特性評価装置を用いて放電速度の指標となる電圧降下時間の測定試験を行った。それぞれの潤滑剤を一対の電極に挟み、一方の電極表面から非接触で強制帯電(プラス)を行い、非接触で帯電量を測定した(静電圧)。静電圧が0.2kV以下まで降下する時間を計測し、その値を電圧降下時間とした。実施例1、参考例1及び比較例1の潤滑剤において、放電特性評価装置を用いて測定した放電速度の指標となる電圧降下時間(放電速度の逆数)を示すグラフを図6に示す。
Claims (12)
- 少なくとも2個の部位を有する摩擦摺動機構の部位間に配置された第一潤滑剤を有する第一摺動部と、
少なくとも2個の部位を有する摩擦摺動機構の部位間に配置された第二潤滑剤を有する第二摺動部と、
少なくとも2個の部位を有する摩擦摺動機構の部位間に配置された第三潤滑剤を有する第三摺動部と、
を備える摺動部材であって、
第一摺動部は、第三潤滑剤に接触しており、且つ
第二摺動部は、第三潤滑剤に接触しておらず、
第一潤滑剤は、基油と添加剤とを含有し、
第二潤滑剤は、鉱油、炭化水素系合成油、フェニルエーテル系合成油、エステル系合成油、ポリグリコール系合成油及びシリコーン油からなる群より選択される1種以上の基油と、増ちょう剤と、導電性カーボン及びポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含む添加剤とを含有し、且つグリース組成物の形態である、摺動部材を搭載する製品の操縦安定性を向上させるための潤滑剤であり、
第三潤滑剤は、基油と添加剤とを含有し、
第三潤滑剤は、導電性カーボンを含有せず、且つ
第二潤滑剤は、第一潤滑剤より相対的に多量の導電性カーボンを含有する、
前記摺動部材。 - 前記第二潤滑剤に含有される前記基油が、鉱油のみからなる、請求項1に記載の摺動部材。
- 前記第二潤滑剤に含有される前記基油が、40℃において40~200mm 2 /sの範囲の動粘度を有するパラフィン系鉱油である、請求項1又は2に記載の摺動部材。
- 前記第二潤滑剤に含有される前記基油の前記炭化水素系合成油が、1-デセンを出発原料とするポリα-オレフィン油又はα-オレフィンとエチレンとのコオリゴマー油である、請求項1に記載の摺動部材。
- 前記第二潤滑剤に含有される前記添加剤の前記導電性カーボンの一次粒径が、1~100nmの範囲であり、且つ前記第二潤滑剤に含有される前記添加剤の前記ポリテトラフルオロエチレンの粒度分布における平均粒径が、0.5~50μmの範囲である、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の摺動部材。
- 前記第二潤滑剤に含有される前記添加剤が、
二硫化モリブデン、グラファイト、及びメラミンシアヌレートからなる群より選択される1種以上の固体添加剤;
硫化オレフィン、硫化エステル、及び硫化油脂からなる群より選択される1種以上の極圧剤;
リン酸エステル、酸性リン酸エステル、酸性リン酸エステルアミン塩、亜鉛ジチオフォスフェート及び亜鉛ジチオカーバメートからなる群より選択される1種以上の耐摩耗剤;
アミン類、エステル類及び動植物系油脂からなる群より選択される1種以上の油性剤;
フェノール系酸化防止剤及びアミン系酸化防止剤からなる群より選択される1種以上の酸化防止剤;
脂肪酸アミン塩類、ナフテン酸亜鉛類及び金属スルフォネート類からなる群より選択される1種以上の錆止め剤;並びに
ベンゾトリアゾール類及びチアジアゾール類からなる群より選択される1種以上の金属不活性化剤;
からなる群より選択される1種以上の他の添加剤をさらに含む、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の摺動部材。 - 第一潤滑剤が、導電性カーボンを含有しない、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の摺動部材。
- 導電性カーボンが、カーボンブラック、カーボンナノチューブ、カーボンナノホーン、カーボンナノファイバー、グラフェン、及び黒鉛からなる群より選択される、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の摺動部材。
- 第一潤滑剤が、増ちょう剤をさらに含有し、且つグリース組成物の形態である、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の摺動部材。
- 自動車用である、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の摺動部材。
- 電子制御デファレンシャルである、請求項10に記載の摺動部材。
- 電子制御カップリングである、請求項10に記載の摺動部材。
