Description
この運転支援装置によれば、減速対象の種別が位置固定物に含まれるときには、ロストした減速対象の位置が変化しないため、ロスト時の減速対象の位置を用いて減速支援を適切に継続することができる。
一実施形態に係る運転支援装置100の構成について図面を参照して説明する。図1に示すように、運転支援装置100は、装置を統括的に管理する運転支援ECU[Electronic Control Unit]10を備えている。運転支援ECU10は、CPU[Central Processing Unit]、ROM[Read Only Memory]、RAM[Random Access Memory]などを有する電子制御ユニットである。運転支援ECU10では、例えば、ROMに記憶されているプログラムをRAMにロードし、RAMにロードされたプログラムをCPUで実行することにより各種の機能を実現する。運転支援ECU10は、複数の電子ユニットから構成されていてもよい。
次に、本実施形態に係る運転支援装置100の処理について図面を参照して説明する。図3は、減速支援開始処理の一例を示すフローチャートである。この減速開始処理は、運転支援機能が実行されている場合に行われる。
Claims (2)
- 自車両の前方に減速対象を検出した場合に、前記減速対象に対する前記自車両の減速支援を行う運転支援装置であって、
前記減速対象の種別が位置固定物に含まれるか移動物に含まれるかを判定する種別判定部と、
前記減速支援の実行中に、前記減速対象をロストしたか否かを判定するロスト判定部と、
前記ロスト判定部により前記減速対象をロストしたと判定された場合に、ロストした前記減速対象が存在すると仮定して前記減速支援を継続する運転支援部と、
前記ロスト判定部により前記減速対象をロストしたと判定された場合、前記減速対象の種別が移動物に含まれるときには前記減速対象のロストを前記自車両の運転者に通知し、前記減速対象の種別が位置固定物に含まれるときには前記減速対象のロストを前記運転者に通知しない通知部と、
を備え、
前記種別判定部は、前記減速対象が信号機であるか否かを判定すると共に、前記減速対象が前記信号機である場合に前記信号機の点灯状態を判定し、
前記通知部は、前記種別判定部により前記減速対象が前記信号機であると判定され、前記ロスト判定部により前記信号機をロストしたと判定された場合に、ロスト時の点灯状態から前記信号機の点灯状態が変化することで前記減速支援の目標車速が小さい値に変更されるか否かを判定し、前記信号機の点灯状態が変化することで前記減速支援の目標車速が小さい値に変更されるときには前記信号機のロストを前記運転者に通知し、前記信号機の点灯状態が変化することで前記減速支援の目標車速が小さい値に変更されないときには前記信号機のロストを前記運転者に通知しない、運転支援装置。 - 前記運転支援部は、前記ロスト判定部により前記減速対象をロストしたと判定された場合、前記減速対象の種別が位置固定物に含まれるとき、ロスト時の前記減速対象の位置を用いて前記減速支援を継続する、請求項1に記載の運転支援装置。
