Description
図1は、ハイブリッド車両(以下、単に「車両」とも記載する)10の駆動システムの構成の一例を示す図である。図1に示すように、車両10は、走行用の動力源として、エンジン(内燃機関)13と、第2モータジェネレータ(回転電機、以下「第2MG」とも記載する)15とを備える。車両10は、さらに、制御装置11と、第1モータジェネレータ(以下「第1MG」とも記載する)14とを備える。
図2は、過給機47を有するエンジン13の構成の一例を示す図である。エンジン13は、たとえば、直列4気筒型の火花点火型の内燃機関である。図2に示すようにエンジン13は、たとえば、4つの気筒40a,40b,40c,40dが一方向に並べられて形成されるエンジン本体40を含む。
図3は、制御装置11の構成の一例を示すブロック図である。図3に示すように、制御装置11は、HV(Hybrid Vehicle)-ECU(Electronic Control Unit)62と、MG-ECU63と、エンジンECU64とを備える。
以上のような構成を有する車両10は、エンジン13および第2MG15を動力源としたハイブリッド(HV)走行モードやエンジン13を停止状態にするとともに第2MG15をバッテリ18に蓄積した電力で駆動して走行する電気(EV)走行モードなどの走行モードに設定または切り替えが可能である。各モードの設定や切り替えは、HV-ECU62により実行される。HV-ECU62は、設定または切り替えられた走行モードに基づいてエンジン13、第1MG14および第2MG15を制御する。
図4は、エンジン13の動作点を説明するための図である。図4において、縦軸は、エンジン13のトルクTeを示し、横軸は、エンジン13の回転速度Neを示す。
上述の本実施の形態による制御装置11は、第2MG15による十分なアシストが得られるか否かに応じて最適動作線L1およびPM抑制動作線L4のどちらかを選択し、選択された動作線を用いてエンジン13を制御する例について説明した。
図1に示す車両10は、エンジン13と2つのMG14,15とを駆動源として備えるタイプ(いわゆるスプリット方式)のハイブリッド車両であるが、本開示による制御が適用可能な車両は図1に示す車両1に限定されない。たとえば、エンジンと1つのMGとを備える一般的なシリーズ方式あるいはパラレル方式のハイブリッド車両にも本開示による制御は適用可能である。
Claims (3)
- 過給機を有する内燃機関と、
回転電機と、
前記内燃機関および前記回転電機に接続される駆動輪と、
前記内燃機関および前記回転電機を制御するように構成された制御装置とを備え、
前記内燃機関の動作領域には、前記過給機による過給中に前記内燃機関の負荷が増加されることによって前記内燃機関の排気中に含まれる粒子状物質の量が所定量よりも多くなる特定の領域が含まれ、
前記特定の領域は、前記内燃機関の回転速度が所定速度よりも低く、かつ前記内燃機関のトルクが所定トルクよりも高い領域であり、
前記制御装置は、
前記内燃機関の動作点が前記特定の領域に含まれる場合に、前記内燃機関のトルクの増加速度を上限速度以下に制限する第1制御を実行し、
前記第1制御によって制限された前記内燃機関のトルク分を前記回転電機のトルクで補うように前記回転電機を制御し、
前記制御装置は、前記内燃機関の動作点が前記特定の領域に含まれない場合には前記第1制御を実行しない、ハイブリッド車両。 - 前記制御装置は、
前記回転電機が発生可能な出力が所定値よりも大きい場合、前記第1制御に代えて、前記内燃機関の動作点が前記特定の領域に含まれることを回避するように前記内燃機関の出力を制限する第2制御を実行し、
前記第2制御によって制限された前記内燃機関の出力分を前記回転電機の出力で補うように前記回転電機を制御し、
前記制御装置は、前記第2制御において、前記内燃機関の燃費が最小となるように予め定められた第1動作線ではなく、前記第1動作線における前記特定の領域に含まれる部分を前記特定の領域に含まれないように低トルク側に変更した第2動作線を選択し、選択された前記第2動作線を用いて前記内燃機関の出力を制限する、請求項1に記載のハイブリッド車両。 - ハイブリッド車両の制御方法であって、
前記ハイブリッド車両は、
過給機を有する内燃機関と、
回転電機と、
前記内燃機関および前記回転電機に接続される駆動輪とを備え、
前記内燃機関の動作領域には、前記過給機による過給中に前記内燃機関の負荷が増加されることによって前記内燃機関の排気中に含まれる粒子状物質の量が所定量よりも多くなる特定の領域が含まれ、
前記特定の領域は、前記内燃機関の回転速度が所定速度よりも低く、かつ前記内燃機関のトルクが所定トルクよりも高い領域であり、
前記制御方法は、
前記内燃機関の動作点が前記特定の領域に含まれる場合に、前記内燃機関のトルクの増加速度を上限速度以下に制限する第1制御を実行するステップと、
前記第1制御によって制限された前記内燃機関のトルク分を前記回転電機のトルクで補うように前記回転電機を制御するステップとを含み、
前記制御方法は、前記内燃機関の動作点が前記特定の領域に含まれない場合には前記第1制御を実行しないステップを含む、ハイブリッド車両の制御方法。
