Description
Claims (14)
- 人工心臓弁であって、
自己房室心臓弁の心房側に位置決めされるように構成された心房部分と、自己房室心臓弁の心室側に位置決めされるように構成された心室部分と、前記心房部分及び前記心室部分の間の輪部分と、を有する潰れることが可能かつ拡張可能な外側フレームアセンブリと、
内側フレームに支持された弁尖アセンブリを含む内側弁アセンブリであって、前記内側フレームは、自己房室心臓弁の心房側に位置決めされるように構成された心房端部と、自己房室心臓弁の心室側に位置決めされるように構成された心室端部と、を有する、内側弁アセンブリと、を備え、
前記内側弁アセンブリは、前記内側フレームの前記心室端部と前記外側フレームアセンブリの前記心室部分との間の接続部によって前記外側フレームアセンブリに結合され、
前記内側弁アセンブリの前記内側フレームは、前記接続部から前記人工心臓弁の流入端の方へ向かって上向きに延在し、
前記内側弁アセンブリ及び前記外側フレームアセンブリは、前記接続部の上流で前記内側弁アセンブリ及び前記外側フレームアセンブリの間に間隙が存在するように、前記接続部から前記人工心臓弁の前記流入端の方へ向かって分岐し、
前記外側フレームアセンブリの前記輪部分及び前記心房部分は、前記内側弁アセンブリから半径方向に離間され、かつ、前記内側弁アセンブリの方へ向かって半径方向内側に撓むことができ、
前記外側フレームアセンブリは、前記外側フレームアセンブリが拡張状態にある場合に、円周圧縮に対する抵抗の剛性を有し、前記剛性は、前記外側フレームアセンブリの軸方向に変化する、人工心臓弁。 - 前記外側フレームアセンブリの前記心房部分の剛性は前記外側フレームアセンブリの前記心室部分の剛性よりも低い、請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記外側フレームアセンブリの前記心房部分及び前記輪部分の各々は、自己房室心臓弁の輪に対応する形状を有する、請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記内側フレームは形状記憶エキスパンドメタルで形成されている、請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記外側フレームアセンブリは、形状記憶エキスパンドメタルで形成された外側フレームを含む、請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記内側弁アセンブリの前記心房端部は、複数のアーチで形成された周辺を有する、請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記内側弁アセンブリは、前記内側フレームの周辺に配置され、かつ、実質的に血液不透過性の材料から形成されたカバーを含み、
前記外側フレームアセンブリは、外側フレームと、前記外側フレームの内周に配置され、かつ、実質的に血液不透過性の材料で形成された内側カバーと、を含み、
前記内側フレームの前記カバーは前記外側フレームの前記内側カバーに結合される、請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。 - 前記輪部分は砂時計の形状を有し、最小外周は、前記心房部分付近の大きな外周と前記心室部分付近の大きな外周との間に配置されており、前記外側フレームアセンブリの前記心室部分の最大外周は前記外側フレームアセンブリの前記輪部分の最大外周よりも大きく、前記心室部分の最小外周は前記輪部分の最小外周よりも小さい、請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記外側フレームアセンブリは砂時計の形状を有する、請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記外側フレームアセンブリの前記心室部分の最大外周は前記輪部分の最大外周よりも大きく、
前記外側フレームアセンブリの前記心室部分の最小外周は前記輪部分の最小外周よりも小さい、請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。 - 前記外側フレームアセンブリの前記心室部分の剛性は前記輪部分の剛性よりも高い、請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記外側フレームアセンブリの前記心房部分の剛性は、(i)前記輪部分の剛性よりも低い、(ii)前記輪部分の剛性よりも高い、及び、(iii)前記輪部分の剛性に等しい、のうちのいずれかである、請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記外側フレームアセンブリは、前記外側フレームアセンブリが拡張状態にある場合に、円周圧縮に対する抵抗の剛性を有し、前記剛性は、前記人工心臓弁の第1側から前記人工心臓弁の反対側の第2側へ円周方向に変化する、請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記外側フレームアセンブリの前記心房部分及び前記輪部分の各々は、自己房室心臓弁の輪に対応する形状を有し、かつ、比較的湾曲した部分及び比較的平坦な部分を有し、前記外側フレームアセンブリは、拡張状態にある場合に、円周圧縮に対する抵抗の剛性を有し、前記剛性は、前記比較的湾曲した部分と前記比較的平坦な部分との間で円周方向に変化する、請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。
