Description
Claims (20)
- 無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤を製造するための無溶媒
の方法であって、該方法は、
a 水と1重量パーセントから50重量パーセントの界面活性剤を混合して溶液を形成す
ること;
b 無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーと前記溶液を、0.5気圧から1.5
気圧で真空を適用することなく混合してターポリマー混合物を形成すること、
ここで、無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーは、最終無溶媒エチレンプロピ
レンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤の全重量に対して10重量パーセントから60重
量パーセントである;
ここで、前記無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーは、
(i)エチレン及びプロピレンの飽和ポリマー骨格を有するランダム共有結合ポリ
マーを85重量パーセントから99.75重量パーセント、ここで、前記エチレン及びプ
ロピレンは、エチレン:プロピレン比がそれぞれ40:60から85:15、そして10
0000 Mwから5000 Mwの分子量を有し;及び
(ii)メチリデンノルボルネン、ジシクロペンタジエン、エチリデンノルボルネ
ン、1,4−ヘキサジエン、ノルボルナジエン及びビニルノルボルネンの、少なくとも一
つから成る非共役ジエン成分を0.25重量パーセントから15重量パーセント
含み;
c 前記ターポリマー混合物を、0.5気圧から1.5気圧で5分から24時間の間、摂
氏20度から摂氏100度の間の温度において、最終無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンタ
ーポリマーラテックス製剤を形成するために高剪断混合すること、
ここで、前記最終無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤は、粘
度1センチポアズから2000センチポアズ、密度0.8から1.1;及び分離あるいは
層化せずに7日から365日までの保管可能期間を有する
を含む無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤を製造するための無
溶媒の方法。 - 前記界面活性剤は、陽イオン性界面活性剤、陰イオン性界面活性剤、及び非イオン性界面活性剤の少なくとも一つとすることができる、請求項1に記載の無溶媒の方法。
- 前記陽イオン性界面活性剤は、ドデシルアンモニウムブロミド及びテトラオクチル塩化アンモニウムの少なくとも一つであり、前記陰イオン界面活性剤は、ドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム及びスルホサクシネートの少なくとも一つであり;並びに前記非イオン性界面活性剤は、ポリオキシエチレンp−t−オクチルフェノール及びポリオキシエチレンソルビン酸塩の少なくとも一つである、請求項2に記載の無溶媒の方法。
- 前記溶液を形成するための前記水は、蒸留水、脱イオン水、水道水、及びプロセス水の少なくとも一つである、請求項1に記載の無溶媒の方法。
- さらに、最終無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤の全重量パーセントに基づいて0.1重量パーセントから10重量パーセントの硬化剤を、最終無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤に添加して硬化可能な無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックスを形成することを含み、
ここで、前記硬化剤は、硫黄、硫黄の誘導体、過酸化物、及びヒドロペルオキシドの少なくとも一つを含むグループから選択される、
請求項1に記載の無溶媒の方法。 - 前記過酸化物がペルオキシ炭酸塩であり、前記硫黄の誘導体がチウラム、チアゾール、ジチオカルバミン酸塩およびキサントゲン酸塩から成るグループから選択される、請求項5に記載の無溶媒の方法。
- さらに、前記硬化可能な最終無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤を、摂氏25度から摂氏100度の範囲内の温度において10分から24時間の間、0.5気圧から1.5気圧で真空を適用することなく加熱して、部分的に架橋した無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤を形成することを含む、請求項5に記載の無溶媒の方法。
- 前記加熱によって、前記部分的に架橋した無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤において、20パーセントから98パーセントの架橋を達成する、請求項7に記載の無溶媒の方法。
- 前記硬化剤の全重量パーセントに基づいて0.1重量パーセントから10重量パーセントの硫黄促進剤を前記硬化剤に添加することを含み、
ここで、前記硫黄促進剤は、ジエチルジチオカルバミン酸亜鉛及びジンクベンゾチアゾール(zinc benzothiozole)の少なくとも一つである、
請求項5に記載の無溶媒の方法。 - さらに、前記溶液に、最終無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤の全重量パーセントに基づいて0.1重量パーセントから3重量パーセントの消泡剤を加えること、あるいは、前記消泡剤を前記ターポリマー混合物に加えることを含む、請求項1に記載の無溶媒の方法。
- 前記消泡剤は、シリコーングリコール、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリアクリル酸塩、ポリジメチルシロキサン、及び微粉化されたシリカを含有するポリジメチルシロキサンを含むグループから選択された少なくとも一つである、請求項10に記載の無溶媒の方法。
- さらに、前記最終無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤の全重量パーセントに基づいて1重量パーセントから5重量パーセントの沈降防止安定剤を、前記最終無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤に加えることを含み、ここで前記沈降防止安定剤はグリセリンである、請求項1に記載の無溶媒の方法。
- さらに、前記最終無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤の全重量パーセントに基づいて0.1重量パーセントから3重量パーセントの殺生物剤を、前記最終無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤に加えることを含み、ここで前記殺生物剤はベンゾイソチアゾリノンである、請求項1に記載の無溶媒の方法。
- さらに、前記最終無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤の全重量パーセントに基づいて5重量パーセントから50重量パーセントの充填剤を、前記最終無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤に加えることを含み、ここで前記充填剤は、シリカ、タルク、スターチ、炭酸カルシウム、及びカーボンブラックを含むグループから選択される少なくとも一つである、請求項1に記載の無溶媒の方法。
- さらに、前記最終無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤の全重量パーセントに基づいて0.1重量パーセントから20重量パーセントの顔料を、前記最終無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤に加えることを含み、ここで前記顔料は、有機染料、カーボンブラック、及び金属酸化物を含むグループから選択される少なくとも一つである、請求項1に記載の無溶媒の方法。
- さらに、熱交換器、熱伝達流体、電熱、蒸気、あるいはそれらの組み合わせを用いて加熱を実行することができる、請求項7に記載の無溶媒の方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法によって作製された前記無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤を含む塗料。
- 請求項1に記載の方法によって作製された前記無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤を含む接着剤。
- 請求項1に記載の方法によって作製された前記無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤を含むコーキング剤。
- 請求項1に記載の方法によって作製された前記無溶媒エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマーラテックス製剤並びにブチルラテックス、アクリルラテックス、及びポリウレタンラテックスの少なくとも一つを含む液状ラテックス混合物。
