Description
Claims (3)
- 入力画像におけるエッジ画素を特定するエッジ画素特定部と、
特定された前記エッジ画素のうち、罫線エッジの前記エッジ画素を特定する属性特定部と、
特定された前記罫線エッジのエッジ画素以外のエッジ画素より前記罫線エッジのエッジ画素のトナー消費量が少なくなるように、前記エッジ画素に対して所定の画像処理を実行する出力画像処理部と、
を備え、
前記属性特定部は、特定された前記エッジ画素のうち、文字エッジの前記エッジ画素を特定し、
前記出力画像処理部は、特定された前記文字エッジのエッジ画素より前記罫線エッジのエッジ画素のトナー消費量が少なくなるように、前記エッジ画素に対して所定の画像処理を実行すること、
を特徴とする画像処理装置。 - 前記属性特定部は、主走査方向に沿って所定数以上の前記エッジ画素が連続している場合、連続している前記エッジ画素の属性を罫線エッジとし、副走査方向に沿って所定数以上の前記エッジ画素が連続している場合、連続している前記エッジ画素の属性を罫線エッジとし、罫線エッジのエッジ画素以外の前記エッジ画素を文字エッジのエッジ画素とすることを特徴とする請求項1記載の画像処理装置。
- 前記出力画像処理部は、前記罫線エッジのエッジ画素より前記入力画像における前記エッジ画素以外の画素のトナー消費量が少なくなるように、前記入力画像における前記エッジ画素以外の画素に対して前記所定の画像処理を実行することを特徴とする請求項1記載の画像処理装置。
