Description
各試験タイヤの重量を測定した。評価結果は、従来例を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が小さいほどタイヤ重量が軽いことを意味する。
各試験タイヤをリムサイズ18×8.5Jのホイールに組み付けて、空気圧230kPaを充填し、ISOの規定に準拠して、ドラム径2000mmのドラム試験機を用いて転がり抵抗を測定した。評価結果は、従来例を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が小さいほど転がり抵抗が小さいことを意味する。
各試験タイヤをリムサイズ18×8.5Jのホイールに組み付けて排気量2400ccの車両に装着し、空気圧230kPaの条件下で、操縦安定性についてパネラーによる官能評価を実施した。評価結果は、基準点を5として10段階評価にて示した。この評価値が大きいほど操縦安定性が優れていることを意味する。

Claims (8)
- タイヤ周方向に延在して環状をなすトレッド部と、該トレッド部の両側に配置された一対のサイドウォール部と、これらサイドウォール部のタイヤ径方向内側に配置された一対のビード部と、該一対のビード部間に装架されていて複数本のカーカスコードを含むカーカス層とを備え、該カーカス層が各ビード部のビードコアの廻りにタイヤ内側から外側へ巻き上げられた構造を有する空気入りタイヤにおいて、
前記トレッド部の接地幅に相当する領域を踏面領域とし、前記トレッド部の接地幅の中央80%に相当する領域を踏面中央領域とし、タイヤ最大幅位置よりもタイヤ径方向内側の領域をサイド領域としたとき、前記カーカス層の両端末が前記踏面領域で互いに重なり合い、前記カーカス層が、前記踏面領域でタイヤ径方向最内側に位置する内側層と、前記踏面領域でタイヤ径方向最外側に位置する外側層と、前記踏面領域で前記内側層と前記外側層の間に位置する中間層とを含む3層構造を有し、前記カーカス層の前記踏面中央領域でのタイヤ周方向に対するコード角度が前記内側層と前記外側層と前記中間層のうち少なくとも一つにおいて前記カーカス層の前記サイド領域でのタイヤ周方向に対するコード角度と異なっていることを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記カーカス層の前記内側層と前記外側層と前記中間層のうち少なくとも一つのタイヤ周方向に対するコード角度が前記踏面中央領域では10°〜75°の範囲にあると共に、前記カーカス層のタイヤ周方向に対するコード角度が前記サイド領域では85°〜90°の範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 少なくとも前記踏面領域における前記カーカス層を構成するカーカスコードの幅50mm当たりの打ち込み本数が20本〜70本であり、前記カーカスコードの直径が0.2mm〜1.5mmであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記踏面領域における前記外側層の外周側にベルト層を備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ベルト層が1層であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ベルト層のタイヤ周方向に対するコード角度が15°〜45°であることを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記カーカス層と前記ベルト層の間に0.2mm〜2.0mmの厚さを有する中間ゴム層が配置されていることを特徴とする請求項4〜6のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ベルト層のタイヤ径方向外側にベルト補強層を備えることを特徴とする請求項4〜7のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
