Claims (17)
- 髄内釘(10)であって、
後部側と、
前部側と、
近位部(12)と、
遠位部(14)と、
前記近位部(12)に配置され、骨係合部材(60)が挿入されるように構成された横穴(20)とを備え、前記横穴(20)は、前記横穴(20)の内壁(38)に形成された少なくとも2つの窪み(36)を有し、前記窪み(36)のうち一方は前記髄内釘(10)の前記横穴(20)の後部側に配置され、前記窪み(36)のうち他方は前記横穴(20)の前部側に配置されるものであることを特徴とする髄内釘(10)であって、
前記少なくとも2つの窪み(36)のそれぞれは、前記横穴(20)の穴軸(42)の方向に円錐形状を有し、
前記横穴(20)は、前記穴軸(42)及び該穴軸(42)に沿った長さを有し、前記少なくとも2つの窪み(36)のそれぞれは、前記横穴(20)の前記穴軸(42)の方向の、前記内壁(38)に沿った長さ(lr)を有し、前記窪み(36)のそれぞれの長さ(lr)は、前記横穴(20)の長さよりも短いものであり、
前記横穴(20)は、入り口(44)を有し、前記少なくとも2つの窪み(36)のそれぞれは、前記横穴(20)の前記入り口(44)に通じるものであることを特徴とする髄内釘(10)。 - 前記少なくとも2つの窪み(36)のそれぞれは、前記横穴(20)の穴軸(42)の方向に実質的に延びるものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の髄内釘(10)。
- 前記少なくとも2つの窪み(36)のそれぞれは、前記髄内釘(10)の側面側から中心側に実質的に延びるものであることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の髄内釘(10)。
- 前記少なくとも2つの窪み(36)のそれぞれは、前記横穴(20)の穴軸(42)に対して傾いた部分を有するものであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の髄内釘(10)。
- 前記少なくとも2つの窪み(36)のそれぞれは、凹形状断面を有するものであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の髄内釘(10)。
- 前記少なくとも2つの窪み(36)のそれぞれは、前記横穴(20)の穴軸(42)周りに角度(γ)に亘って延びる円弧状断面部分(52)を画定し、前記角度(γ)は、5°〜175°の間であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の髄内釘(10)。
- 前記少なくとも2つの窪み(36)のそれぞれは、円弧状断面部分(52)を画定し、前記各窪み(36)は、該円弧状断面部分(52)に沿って、1mm〜10mmの間の幅(wr)を有するものであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の髄内釘(10)。
- 前記横穴(20)は、前記近位部(12)の長手軸(22)に実質的に平行な第1の直径(d1)と、前記近位部(12)の前記長手軸(22)に実質的に垂直な第2の直径(d2)とを画定し、前記第2の直径(d2)は、少なくとも前記横穴(20)の一部分において、前記第1の直径(d1)より大きいものであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の髄内釘(10)。
- 前記横穴(20)の前記少なくとも2つの窪み(36)は、互いに近接して、前記横穴(20)の穴軸(42)を挟んで反対側に配置されるものであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項8のいずれか1項に記載の髄内釘(10)。
- 前記横穴(20)は、入り口(44)及び出口(46)のうち少なくとも一方において、平坦な端部及び丸みのある端部(32,34)を一つずつ有するものであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項9のいずれか1項に記載の髄内釘(10)。
- 前記髄内釘(10)は、前記髄内釘(10)を貫通して軸方向に延びる通路(30)を備え、前記少なくとも2つの窪み(36)は、前記通路(30)まで延びるか、又は前記通路(30)と重なるものであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項10のいずれか1項に記載の髄内釘(10)。
- 前記少なくとも2つの窪み(36)は、それぞれ溝として形成され、前記溝の開口部は、互いに向かい合うものであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項11のいずれか1項に記載の髄内釘(10)。
- 前記窪みの円錐形状は、前記内壁(38)に対してコーン角(c)を有するテーパー形状を定め、前記コーン角(c)は、前記穴軸(42)を含む面内に位置するものであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項12のいずれか1項に記載の髄内釘(10)。
- インプラントシステム(58)であって、
請求項1から請求項13のいずれか1項に記載の髄内釘(10)と、
前記髄内釘(10)の前記横穴(20)に挿通されるように構成された骨留め具(60)とを備えるインプラントシステム(58)。 - 前記髄内釘(10)の前記横穴(20)は、前記骨留め具(60)の長手軸に実質的に平行な、又は一致する穴軸(42)を画定するものであることを特徴とする請求項14に記載のインプラントシステム(58)。
- 前記骨留め具(60)は、前記髄内釘(10)の前記横穴(20)内にスライド可能に挿入されるように構成されたねじであることを特徴とする請求項14又は請求項15に記載のインプラントシステム(58)。
- 後部側と、前部側と、近位部(12)と、遠位部(14)と、前記近位部(12)に配置され、骨係合部材(60)が挿入されるように構成された横穴(20)とを備える髄内釘(10)を製造する方法であって、前記横穴(20)の内壁(38)に形成される少なくとも2つの窪み(36)を形成する切削工具を、前記窪み(36)のうち一方を前記髄内釘(10)の前記横穴(20)の後部側に配置し、前記窪み(36)のうち他方を前記横穴(20)の前部側に配置するように誘導することを含み、
前記少なくとも2つの窪み(36)のそれぞれは、前記横穴(20)の穴軸(42)の方向に円錐形状を有し、
前記横穴(20)は、前記穴軸(42)及び該穴軸(42)に沿った長さを有し、前記少なくとも2つの窪み(36)のそれぞれは、前記横穴(20)の前記穴軸(42)の方向の、前記内壁(38)に沿った長さ(lr)を有し、前記窪み(36)のそれぞれの長さ(lr)は、前記横穴(20)の長さよりも短いものであり、
前記横穴(20)は、入り口(44)を有し、前記少なくとも2つの窪み(36)のそれぞれは、前記横穴(20)の前記入り口(44)に通じることを特徴とする方法。
