Description
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様に係る二次電池用正極について、図1を用いて説明する。
本実施の形態においては、実施の形態1で説明した二次電池用正極の製造方法について、図2を用いて説明する。
本実施の形態では、実施の形態1で示した二次電池用正極を用いた種々の二次電池について、図3及び図4を参照して説明する。
図3(A)は、コイン型(単層偏平型)の二次電池の外観図であり、部分的にその断面構造を併せて示した図である。
次に、ラミネート型の二次電池の一例について、図3(B)を参照して説明する。図3(B)では、説明の便宜上、部分的にその内部構造を露出して記載している。
次に、円筒型の二次電池の一例について、図4を参照して説明する。円筒型の二次電池480は図4(A)に示すように、上面に正極キャップ(電池蓋)481を有し、側面及び底面に電池缶(外装缶)482を有している。これら正極キャップ481と電池缶(外装缶)482とは、ガスケット(絶縁パッキン)490によって絶縁されている。
本発明の一態様に係る二次電池は、電力により駆動する様々な電子機器の電源として用いることができる。
次に、携帯型電子機器の一例として携帯情報端末について、図6を用いて説明する。
さらに、電子機器の一例である移動体の例について、図7を用いて説明する。
実施例として、本願発明に係る正極を作製した。以下にその作製方法を示す。
次に、活物質層の構造を視覚的に確認するため、上記の条件で作製した活物質層のSEM(Scanning Electron Microscope)による観察を行った。
上記のように作製した二次電池用正極をハーフセルに組み込み、セルの放電特性を測定した。特性の評価は、CR2032タイプ(直径20mm高さ3.2mm)のコイン形セルの形態で行った。また、負極にはリチウム箔、セパレータには25μm厚のポリプロピレン(PP)膜、電解液には、エチレンカーボネート(EC)とジエチルカーボネート(DEC)とを体積比で1:1の割合で混合した混合溶液中へ六フッ化リン酸リチウム(LiPF6)を1モル/リットルの濃度で溶解したものを用いた。充電は、0.2CのレートでCCCV充電し、上限電圧を4.3Vとした。放電は0.2C、1C、5Cのレート全てについてCC放電により行い、下限電圧は2Vとした。また、測定温度は25℃で行った。下限電圧2Vでの放電容量を最大値とした。
次に、本発明の一態様に係る二次電池用正極について、電極強度の評価を上述の巻き付け試験により評価した。

Claims (1)
- 活物質の表面に炭素層を被覆し、
前記炭素層を被覆した活物質と、酸化グラフェンと、結着剤とを、前記酸化グラフェンの配合比が0.2wt%以上1.0wt%以下として混練することで混合物を形成し、
前記混合物を集電体上に配置し、
前記酸化グラフェンを、減圧雰囲気下、130℃以上200℃以下で加熱してグラフェンを含む活物質層を形成し、
放電レートを1Cとしたときに、放電容量の最大値が140mAh/g以上であり、かつ、測定した放電容量(mAh/g)の区間のうち60%以上の区間で放電曲線がプラトーであることを特徴とする二次電池用正極の製造方法。
