Description
ボタン型電池用ターミナルは、構造的に電池挿入方向と変形荷重方向とが相反するため(両ベクトルは垂直の関係となるため)塑性変形が発生しやすく、塑性変形が発生した場合には導通不良が発生する。また、回路基板上に実装しないタイプ(基板接点式)のターミナルもあるが、このタイプのターミナルでは、振動や落下等で瞬断が発生する可能性が高く、かつ接点の酸化(フレッティング)が懸念される。このため、導通不良が発生しやすく製品寿命の短命化を招きやすい。
ボタン型電池(2)と回路基板(1)とを電気的に接続するボタン型電池用ターミナル(10)において、
前記ボタン型電池の正極(4)の外周面(4a)が押し付けられて接触するとともに、前記ボタン型電池の前後方向及び上下方向の押し付けに応じて弾性変形するバネ形状に形成されるバネ接点端子部(11)と、
前記回路基板に接合される基板接合部(12)と、
該基板接合部と前記バネ接点端子部との間に弾性変形可能に設けられるとともに、その弾性変形により前記バネ接点端子部で受ける前記ボタン型電池の押圧力を、前記ボタン型電池の位置を規定する電池ホルダの有無に関わらずに吸収する押圧吸収バネ部(13)と、を備え、
前記押圧吸収バネ部は、先端部分に前記バネ接点端子部が連結されるとともに、前記ボタン型電池の前後方向及び左右方向の押し付けに応じて弾性変形するバネ形状に形成されて当該ボタン型電池の押圧力を吸収する折曲アーム部(14)を含むことを特徴とする。

Claims (5)
- ボタン型電池(2)と回路基板(1)とを電気的に接続するボタン型電池用ターミナル(10)において、
前記ボタン型電池の正極(4)の外周面(4a)が押し付けられて接触するとともに、前記ボタン型電池の前後方向及び上下方向の押し付けに応じて弾性変形するバネ形状に形成されるバネ接点端子部(11)と、
前記回路基板に接合される基板接合部(12)と、
該基板接合部と前記バネ接点端子部との間に弾性変形可能に設けられるとともに、その弾性変形により前記バネ接点端子部で受ける前記ボタン型電池の押圧力を、前記ボタン型電池の位置を規定する電池ホルダの有無に関わらずに吸収する押圧吸収バネ部(13)と、を備え、
前記押圧吸収バネ部は、先端部分に前記バネ接点端子部が連結されるとともに、前記ボタン型電池の前後方向及び左右方向の押し付けに応じて弾性変形するバネ形状に形成されて当該ボタン型電池の押圧力を吸収する折曲アーム部(14)を含むことを特徴とするボタン型電池用ターミナル。 - 前記基板接合部は、前記回路基板に接合されていない状態で、前記ボタン型電池用ターミナルを自立状態に支持する支持面形状に形成されている請求項1に記載のボタン型電池用ターミナル。
- 前記押圧吸収バネ部は、前記基板接合部に対して段差状に設けられる段差面部(15)と、該段差面部の後端からほぼ垂直上方に折曲されるとともに、その側端部分に前記折曲アーム部の末端部分が連結される折曲片部(16)と、を含む請求項1又は請求項2に記載のボタン型電池用ターミナル。
- 前記バネ接点端子部は、前記ボタン型電池の正極の外周面を個々に異なる部分で接触する左右一対に設けられ、前記折曲アーム部は、その左右一対のバネ接点端子部と個々に対応した左右一対に設けられる請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のボタン型電池用ターミナル。
- 前記バネ接点端子部、前記基板接合部、及び前記押圧吸収バネ部は、板状の電導部材により一体に成形されている請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のボタン型電池用ターミナル。
