Description
24穴マイクロプレートのウェル内で、塩化カルシウム水溶液とピペラジン水溶液をいずれも1mL量での終濃度が10mMになるように混合した。その後、このマイクロプレートを室温で一晩静置した。
ビーカー内で、塩化カルシウム水溶液とピペラジン水溶液をいずれも20mL量での終濃度が50mMになるように混合し、蒸留水を加えて20mLとした。この混合溶液を2℃、10℃、20℃、30℃、40℃、および50℃の各温度でマグネットスターラーにより1時間撹拌した。撹拌終了後、遠心上清のカルシウムイオン濃度をCaキレート滴定法に測定することで、炭酸カルシウムの沈殿量を算出した。図2に結果を示す。図2からわかるように、10℃以下では沈殿量が少なく、20℃を超えると沈殿量が増え、30〜50℃での沈殿量が特に多くなった。ピークは約40℃であった。
96マイクロプレートのウェル内で、下記アミンの水溶液を100μLでの終濃度10mMから5μMまで2倍希釈し、塩化カルシウム水溶液を100μLでの終濃度10mMになるように加え、さらに蒸留水を加えて各ウェルの量を100μLにした:
テトラアミン:スペルミン
トリアミン:スペルミジン
ジアミン:カダベリン、ピペラジン
モノアミン:ピペリジン。
96穴マイクロプレートのウェルに、塩化マグネシウム、クエン酸ナトリウム、メタケイ酸ナトリウム(9水和物)又は塩化ストロンチウムの水溶液を、各100μL量での終濃度が128〜0.06mMになるように入れ、ピペラジン水溶液と塩化カルシウム水溶液をそれぞれ100μL量での終濃度が10mMとなるように各ウェルに添加した。このマイクロプレートを室温で一晩静置した後、結晶の有無または形状を光学顕微鏡で確認した。
96穴マイクロプレートのウェル内で、100μL量での終濃度が10mMになる量のピペラジン水溶液と100μL量での終濃度が1〜128mMになる量の塩化ストロンチウム水溶液とを混合した。このマイクロプレートを室温で一晩静置した後、析出した結晶を光学顕微鏡で観察した。
96穴マイクロプレートのウェル内で、100μL量での終濃度が10mMになる量のピペラジン水溶液と100μL量での終濃度が1〜128mMになる量の塩化バリウム水溶液とを混合した。このマイクロプレートを室温で一晩静置した後、析出した結晶を光学顕微鏡で観察した。
96穴マイクロプレートのウェル内で、海水200μLにピペラジンを10mM濃度になるように添加し、1晩静置した。静置後のウェルを光学顕微鏡で観察したところ、特徴的なダンベル状結晶(多量に存在する小径の細長い結晶)と球状結晶(ずっと大径のより少数の結晶)の両方の生成が認められた(図10)。2種類の結晶形態が混在するのは、海水中に共存するマグネシウムイオンおよびストロンチウムイオンなどの微量金属の影響によるものと推測される。得られた結晶はIR測定により856cm−1に吸収ピークが見られたことから、結晶系はアラゴナイトであることが分かった。
本実施例では、従来のアミン法に用いられているモノエタノールアミン(MEA)やアンモニア(NH3)と本発明で提唱しているポリアミン(ピペラジン)の炭酸カルシウム形成能力を比較する。
Claims (7)
- カルシウムイオン、ストロンチウムイオンおよびバリウムイオンから選ばれた少なくとも1種のアルカリ土類金属イオンと生体内で合成されるポリアミンとを含有する水溶液を空気と接触させ、析出物を分離することを特徴とする、アルカリ土類金属炭酸塩の製造方法であって、
前記生体内で合成されるポリアミンが、プトレシン、カダベリン、スペルミンおよびスペルミジンから選ばれる、アルカリ土類金属炭酸塩の製造方法。 - 前記アルカリ土類金属イオンの供給源が塩化カルシウム、塩化ストロンチウムおよび塩化バリウムから選ばれる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記アルカリ土類金属イオンの供給源の少なくとも一部が海水である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記水溶液を30〜50℃の温度で撹拌しながら空気と接触させる、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記水溶液がカルシウムイオンと生体内で合成されるポリアミンとを含有する水溶液であって、この水溶液が、塩化マグネシウム、クエン酸ナトリウム、メタケイ酸ナトリウム、および塩化ストロンチウムから選ばれた少なくとも1種の化合物をさらに含有する、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の炭酸カルシウムの製造方法。
- 生体内で合成されるポリアミンを添加した海水を空気と接触させ、析出物を分離することを特徴とする、炭酸カルシウムの製造方法であって、
前記生体内で合成されるポリアミンが、プトレシン、カダベリン、スペルミンおよびスペルミジンから選ばれる、炭酸カルシウムの製造方法。 - 生体内で合成されるポリアミンを添加した海水を空気と接触させ、析出物を回収することを特徴とする、海水からのアルカリ土類金属の回収方法であって、
前記生体内で合成されるポリアミンが、プトレシン、カダベリン、スペルミンおよびスペルミジンから選ばれる、炭酸カルシウムの製造方法。
