Description

本発明は、自動車グレージング用の透明積層ガラスに関する。
また、本発明は、新規な透明積層ガラスの新規な使用法にも関する。
米国特許第７，０７０，８６３号明細書より、０．８ｍｍから１．７ｍｍの厚さを有する少なくとも１つのガラス板を含む自動車グレージング用の積層グレージング板が知られている。縁圧縮応力は２０ＭＰａから８０ＭＰａであり、このためガラス板表面の中心における５ＭＰａから６０ＭＰａの圧縮応力と比較して高くなっている。
独国特許第４４１５８７８号明細書より、０．２ｍｍから１．５ｍｍの厚さを有する薄いガラスおよびプラスチック板を含む自動車用積層ガラスが知られている。個々の材料の間の機械的張力を相殺するために、接着層が開示されている。
米国特許第６，２７０，６０５号明細書は、ガラスより軽い特定の重量を有する熱可塑性層を間に挟んだ２つの薄いガラスを含む、湾曲多層ガラスおよびポリマー積層板の製造方法を開示している。各ガラス層は、積層の合計厚さの１／５以下の厚さを有する。
米国特許第５，５８９，２７２号明細書は、０．３ｍｍから０．７ｍｍの間のガラス厚を有する、透明ガラスおよびポリマー積層板を開示している。ガラス板とポリマー板との間には、１つには接着促進剤として、もう１つには、積層内の機械的張力を相殺するための弾性中間層として機能する、ポリマー層がある。
対称な積層ガラスにおいて、内板および外板は、同じ板厚を有する。非対称構造においては、積層ガラスは、異なる厚さを有する内板および外板を含む。

上述のような積層ガラス板は、剛性および安定性、石衝撃耐性、視界における光学的歪み、表面の摩耗および傷耐性、ならびに積層ガラスの総重量の減少など、自動車グレージングの基本的な機械的および光学的要件の少なくとも１つを満たさないという欠点を有する。
本発明の目的は、機械的剛性および安定性、石衝撃耐性、視界における光学的歪み、表面の摩耗および傷耐性、ならびに積層ガラスの総重量の減少に関する、自動車グレージングの要件を満たす製品を提供することである。
本発明の付加的な目的は、透明積層ガラスの新規な使用法を提供することである。
本発明の目的は、請求項１に記載される特徴を通じて達成される。透明積層ガラスは、１．４５ｍｍから１．８ｍｍ、好ましくは１．７５ｍｍから１．８ｍｍの厚さを有する透明外板、０．５ｍｍから４．０ｍｍの厚さを有する少なくとも１つのポリマー層、および１．０ｍｍから１．４ｍｍの厚さを有する透明内板を含み、少なくとも１つのポリマー層は、エチレンビニルアセテート、可塑化ポリビニルブチラール、ポリウレタン、ポリカーボネート、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、および／またはアイオノマーならびにコポリマーおよび／またはそれらの組合せを含有し、透明外板および透明内板の厚さの合計に対する透明外板の厚さの比率は、０．５０９から０．６４３、好ましくは０．５６３から０．５９２である。
最後に、とりわけ、自動車グレージングにおける本発明による積層ガラスの新規な使用法は、好ましくはフロントガラスとして、特に好ましくは石衝撃耐性の高いフロントガラスとして、見出された。
新規な発明は、薄板および少なくとも１つのポリマー層の新規な非対称積層構造を通じて、軽量化を実現する。自動車における安全なガラスの要件（ＥＣＥ−Ｒ ４３：２００４）および、特に、機械的剛性および安定性、石衝撃耐性、光学的歪み、表面の摩耗および傷耐性の要件が満たされる。
好適な実施形態において、比較的厚い、少なくとも単層の、ポリマー層が使用される。これは積層の機械的剛性を向上させる。好ましくは、少なくとも単層のポリマー層の厚さは０．８ｍｍから３．８ｍｍである。無機ガラスの比重と比較してポリマーの比重は小さいので、ポリマー層の厚さが増加した積層ガラスの重量の増加は小さい。
透明外板および透明内板については、好ましくはガラスが使用される。基本的に、積層ガラス、特に積層安全ガラスの製造に一般的に使用される全てのガラスが考慮される。ＤＩＮ−ＥＮ ５７２ １に準拠するケイ酸塩ガラスが特に好ましい。
非対称構造の有利な実施形態において、非対称構造を得るために、透明内板の厚さは透明外板の厚さよりも小さい。驚くことに、これは機械的特性、特に石衝撃耐性を改善した。好ましくは、透明外板の厚さｄ＿ａおよび透明内板の厚さｄ＿ｉの合計に対する透明外板の厚さｄ＿ａの厚さ比率は、０．５５２から０．５７１である。厚さ比率は、数式ｄ＿ａ／（ｄ＿ａ＋ｄ＿ｉ）を使用して計算される。
好適な実施形態において、透明外板の厚さはおおよそ１．６から１．８ｍｍであり、透明内板の厚さは好ましくは１．２から１．４ｍｍである。
少なくとも１つのポリマー層は、ガラス表面と接触している。これは、エチレンビニルアセテート（ＥＶＡ）、可塑化ポリビニルブチラール（ＰＶＢ）、ポリウレタン、および／またはアイオノマーならびにコポリマーおよび／またはそれらの組合せを含有する。ＥＶＡなどの材料は、ケイ酸塩ガラスとの良好な接着性を有する。ガラスとポリマーとの間に接着促進剤は不要である。このため積層工程はより簡易および安価である。
外板と内板との間の距離を増加させるために、外板と内板との間のポリマー層の多層システムが特に好ましい。このため、本発明による積層ガラスの機械的剛性が向上される。
その安定性および機械的剛性をさらに向上させるために、本発明による積層ガラスは、縦方向および／または横方向の両方において、二次元または三次元的に曲げることが可能である。
平坦または湾曲内板および外板ならびに少なくとも１つのポリマー層は、好ましくはオートクレーブ法で接合される。圧力および熱を通じて、恒久的接合が実現される。
本発明による積層ガラスの領域は、様々に異なってもよく、本発明による使用法によって決定される。領域は、車両のドア窓板向けには数十平方センチメートルであってもよく、フロントガラス、リアウィンドウ、またはガラスルーフ向けには最大数平方メートルであってもよい。
ガラス板は好ましくは、積層ガラス板の各板のいずれか１つまたは両方が、着色遮熱ガラスでできている、および／または熱線反射被覆を備えている、遮熱板として設計される。
さらなる実施形態において、少なくとも１つのポリマー層は、赤外線を吸収または反射する被覆を有する。好ましくは、赤外線を吸収または反射するポリマー層は、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ならびにそのコポリマーを含む。
本発明の有利な実施形態において、透明内板または透明外板は、ポリマーに面する側において、完全にまたは部分的に、赤外線吸収または反射層で覆われている。このため、自動車グレージングは、その伝達特性において、自動車の内側の温度要件に適合することが可能である。基本的に、本発明による積層ガラスの製造および使用の条件の下で安定している全ての慣習的および知られている赤外線遮断材料が考慮される。ガラス上に蒸着される１ｎｍから１０００ｎｍの範囲の薄層が好ましい。これらの層は、気相からのスパッタリングまたは化学蒸着によって付着され得る。少なくとも１つの層は、銀、またはドープ酸化スズ、酸化亜鉛、もしくはそれらの混合物などの導電性透明酸化物を含有することができる。
透明積層ガラスの部分的領域は、不透明被覆で覆われることが可能である。好ましくは、透明外板または内板は、ポリマーに面する側において、シルクスクリーンによって部分的に被覆される。シルクスクリーンによって、外板は完全にまたは部分的に被覆され、好ましくは、本発明による積層ガラスの縁領域は、周辺において被覆される。具体的には、不透明被覆は、好ましくは１０ｍｍから３００ｍｍの幅の、縁に沿った枠の形状で実行される。被覆によって、たとえば、伝達特性または接合接着配置の起こり得る不均一性が隠される。好ましくは黒色の、１μｍから５００μｍの厚さを有する、溶媒含有または化学反応着色層は、知られている温度工程を使用して恒久的に安定させられる。
本発明による積層ガラスもまた、破壊パターン、機械的安定性、光学特性、ならびに放射、水分、および摩耗などの外部効果に対する耐性に関する、ＥＣＥ−Ｒ ４３：２００４に準拠する自動車構造における積層グレージングの要件を満たす。積層ガラスは、特に、機械的剛性および石衝撃耐性の要件を満たす。したがって、本発明による積層ガラスは、好ましくは自動車のグレージングとして使用されることが可能である。
たとえば比較的高速で運転する際の風力などにより、シェル上に作用する力のため、ならびに車体に作用し得るねじり負荷のため、自動車用グレージングは、高い形状安定性およびねじり剛性を有していなければならない。本発明による積層ガラスは、ガラス表面から研磨された縁までの遷移において、８ＭＰａ以上の縁圧縮応力を可能にするが、これは自動車構造における典型的な要件に対応する。
石衝撃耐性を強化するために、外板の圧縮応力は最小化される。ガラス表面から研磨縁までの遷移において、値は７ＭＰａ未満であり、これは自動車構造における典型的な要件に対応する。外板の低い機械的圧縮応力は、高い石衝撃耐性に有利である。機械的張力は、セナルモンまたはフリーデル法で測定され得る。適切な測定装置は、たとえば、ＳＨＡＲＰＬＥＳＳ ＳＴＲＥＳＳ ＥＮＧＩＮＥＥＲＳ ＬＴＤ社の「Ｅｄｇｅ Ｓｔｒｅｓｓ Ｍａｓｔｅｒ」である。
積層ガラスの石衝撃耐性は、規定の形状および規定の運動エネルギーＥを有する発射体の衝撃時の、積層ガラスの破壊確率を通じて決定されることが可能である。破壊確率が５０％である、発射体の閾値エネルギーＥ＿ｔを定義することが可能である。閾値エネルギーＥ＿ｔは、外板の厚さｄ＿ａを、外板の厚さｄ＿ａおよび内板の厚さｄ＿ｉの和で除したものに比例する。
自動車グレージングの視界における光学的歪みは、特に薄い外板および内板に関して、重要な因子である。視野領域Ａ内の積層グレージングの光学的歪みは、２弧分以下、具体的には１弧分未満である（ＥＣＥ−Ｒ ４３：２００４ Ａ３／９．２に記載）。
内板および外板がケイ酸塩ガラスでできている場合、先行技術による積層ガラスに対応する十分な摩耗および傷安定性がある。摩耗試験は、ＥＣＥ−Ｒ ４３：２００４、Ｔｅｓｔ Ａ１４／６．１に記載されている。
外板の厚さに対する内板の厚さの比率は、機械的安定性および剛性、石衝撃耐性、よび光学特性に実質的に影響を及ぼす。好適な組合せは、表１に挙げられる。

本発明の一実施形態は、図中に描写され、以下により詳細に記載される。図１から図３は、本発明の原理を図解する模式図である。模式図は、縮尺通りではない。
先行技術による対称透明積層ガラスの断面図である。 ガラス厚を減少した、本発明による非対称透明積層ガラスの断面図である。 ガラス厚をさらに減少し、内板と外板との間の距離を増加した、本発明による非対称透明積層ガラスの断面図である。
図１から図３において参照符号は以下の意味を有する：
（１）透明外板
（２）ＰＶＢ接合膜
（３）透明内板
（１’）厚さを減少した透明外板

（３’）厚さを減少した透明内板
（Ａ）外板と内板との間の距離

先行技術による比較例は、図１に示される。積層ガラスは、オートクレーブ法によって、厚さ２．１ｍｍの外板（１）および厚さ２．１ｍｍの内板（３）を用いて対称的に製造された。厚さ０．７６ｍｍの従来の接合膜（２）が使用された。したがって、内板（３）と外板（１）との間の距離（Ａ）はおよそ０．７６ｍｍであった。
本発明による例示的実施形態は、図２に示される。積層ガラスは、オートクレーブ法によって、厚さ１．８ｍｍの湾曲外板（１’）および厚さ１．４ｍｍの湾曲内板（３’）を用いて非対称的に製造された。厚さ０．７６ｍｍの従来のＰＶＢ接合膜（２）が使用された。したがって、内板（３’）と外板（１’）との間の距離（Ａ）はおよそ０．７６ｍｍであった。透明外板（１’）の機械的引張応力の値は、７ＭＰａ未満であると測定され、比較例よりも減少した。本発明による基材の石衝撃耐性は、比較例よりも増加した。積層ガラスの５０％破壊確率が測定された発射体の運動閾値エネルギーＥ＿ｔは、比較例よりも２５％増加した。積層ガラスの機械的圧縮応力の値は、１０ＭＰａより大きいと測定された。領域Ａにおける光学的歪みは、１弧分未満の範囲内であった。板の重量は減少した。
図３は、本発明による透明積層ガラスの変形例を示す。積層ガラスは、オートクレーブ法によって、厚さ１．７ｍｍの外板（１’’）および厚さ１．３ｍｍの内板（３’’）を用いて非対称的に製造された。厚さ０．８６ｍｍのＰＶＢ接合膜（２’）を含有する、多層ポリマー層が使用された。したがって、内板（３’’）と外板（１’’）との間の距離（Ａ’）は、およそ０．８６ｍｍであった。積層ガラスの５０％破壊確率が測定された発射体の運動閾値エネルギーＥ＿ｔは、比較例よりも２５％増加した。積層ガラスの機械的圧縮応力の値は、１０ＭＰａより大きいと測定された。領域Ａにおける光学的歪みは、１弧分未満の範囲内であった。板の重量は、先の例示的実施形態よりもさらに減少した。
比較例（図１）および例示的実施形態（図２および図３）の結果は、表２に示される。

驚くことに、また予想外に、本発明による積層ガラスは、改善された石衝撃耐性を有する。

Claims (10)

  1. １．６ｍｍから１．８ｍｍの厚さを有する透明外板（１）、０．５ｍｍから４．０ｍｍの全体厚さを有する少なくとも１つのポリマー層（２）、および１．２ｍｍから１．４ｍｍの厚さを有する透明内板（３）を含む透明積層ガラスであって、少なくとも１つのポリマー層が、エチレンビニルアセテート、可塑化ポリビニルブチラール、ポリウレタン、ポリカーボネート、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、および／またはアイオノマーならびにコポリマーおよび／またはそれらの組合せを含有し、透明外板（１）および透明内板（３）の厚さの合計に対する透明外板（１）の厚さの比率が０．５０９から０．６４３であり、
    透明内板（３）または透明外板（１）が、ポリマー層（２）に面する側において、１ｎｍから１０００ｎｍの全体厚さを有する少なくとも１つの赤外線遮断層で、完全にまたは部分的に被覆されており、
    少なくとも１つの赤外線遮断層が銀を含有する、透明積層ガラス。
  2. 少なくとも１つのポリマー層（２）の全体厚さが０．８ｍｍから３．８ｍｍである、請求項１に記載の透明積層ガラス。
  3. 透明外板（１）および透明内板（３）の厚さの合計に対する透明外板（１）の厚さの比率が０．５５２から０．５７１である、請求項１または２に記載の透明積層ガラス。
  4. 透明外板（１）の厚さが、１．７０ｍｍから１．８０ｍｍである、請求項１から３のいずれか一項に記載の透明積層ガラス。
  5. 積層ガラスが、縦方向および／または横方向に、二次元的におよび／または三次元的に曲げられた、請求項１から４のいずれか一項に記載の透明積層ガラス。
  6. 少なくとも１つのポリマー層（２）が、赤外線を吸収または反射する被覆を有する、請求項１から５のいずれか一項に記載の透明積層ガラス。
  7. 透明外板（１）が、ポリマー層（２）に面する側を部分的に１μｍから５００μｍの厚さを有する不透明層で被覆され、当該不透明層が、１０ｍｍから３００ｍｍの幅を有する枠の形状である、請求項１から６のいずれか一項に記載の透明積層ガラス。
  8. 積層ガラス領域の中心における光学的歪みの最大値が１弧分以下である、請求項１から７のいずれか一項に記載の透明積層ガラス。
  9. 自動車グレージングにおける、請求項１から８のいずれか一項に記載の透明積層ガラスの使用。
  10. フロントガラスとしての、請求項９に記載の透明積層ガラスの使用。
