Description
Claims (4)
- 燃料タンクの排気弁装置であって、
前記燃料タンクの上壁に設けられ、上下方向に延在すると共に、前記燃料タンクの内部と外部とを連通する通路を内部に有する円筒形状の上部構造体と、
上端部及び下端部が開口した円筒形状をなし、内周面にフロート支持片が突設され、上端部の内部に前記上部構造体の下端部が嵌め込まれ、前記通路と連通する下部構造体と、
前記上部構造体と前記フロート支持片との間に上下動可能に支持され、前記下部構造体内に流入する燃料から浮力を受けて上方に移動し、前記通路を閉塞するフロート弁とを有し、
前記上部構造体は、前記下部構造体に嵌め込まれる下端部の外周面に、周方向に間隔をおいて複数の第1係止爪が突設され、
前記下部構造体は、複数の前記第1係止爪がそれぞれ係合する複数の第1係止孔と、前記第1係止孔の隣り合う2つの間であって前記下部構造体の上端縁から離間した位置に形成され、前記下部構造体の外周面から内周面に貫通すると共に上下方向に延在する長孔を有することを特徴とする燃料タンクの排気弁装置。 - 前記上部構造体は、下端部が開口する一方、上端部が閉塞された円筒形状をなし、上端部に内部と外部とを連通する排気孔を有する第1部材と、下端部が開口する一方、貫通孔を有する天板を上端部に備えた円筒形状をなし、上端部が前記第1部材の下端部の内部に嵌め込まれる第2部材とを有し、
前記フロート弁は、燃料から受ける浮力に応じて前記貫通孔を閉塞し、
前記第1部材の外周面には、周方向に間隔をおいて複数の第2係止爪が突設され、
前記第2部材の外周面には、前記第1部材の外周面側へと延びると共に、前記第2係止爪と係合する第2係止孔を備えた係合突片が前記第2係止爪に対応して複数突設されると共に、前記係合突片よりも下方の部分に前記第1係止爪が突設され、
前記下部構造体は、複数の前記係合突片の外面に当接して前記係合突片の変形を抑制するリング部を上端縁に有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料タンクの排気弁装置。 - 前記下部構造体は、上端から順に、径が一定の前記リング部と、下方に進むにつれて径が小さくなるテーパ部と、径が一定であり、前記第1係止孔が形成された中間部とを連続して有し、
前記長孔は、前記テーパ部から前記中間部にかけて形成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の燃料タンクの排気弁装置。 - 前記第1係止孔は、前記下部構造体の周方向に90°の間隔をおいて4つ設けられ、
前記長孔は、前記下部構造体の周方向に180°の間隔をおいて2つ設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1つの項に記載の燃料タンクの排気弁装置。
