Claims (1)
- 電解質膜の両面にそれぞれカソード及びアノードが配置された膜電極接合体と、
前記膜電極接合体の両面に対向して設けられており、且つ、カソードガスが流通するカソードガス流路、及び、アノードガスが流通するアノードガス流路を画成するセパレータと、
前記膜電極接合体と前記セパレータとの間に配置されたガス拡散層と、
を備えており、
前記ガス拡散層は、前記膜電極接合体に当接する領域R1、前記セパレータに当接する領域R3、及び前記領域R1と前記領域R3との間に位置する領域R2とを有しており、当該ガス拡散層の厚さ方向に沿って、撥水比率の大きさが前記領域R2、前記領域R1及び前記領域R3の順になるように構成されたものである、
