Claims (2)
- 製造段階で材質改良用の添加成分が加えられるマグネシウム合金の製造方法であって、
所定のマグネシウム合金に、前記添加成分として珪素を加える珪素添加工程と、
該珪素添加工程により生じるMg2Si化合物を、粒径が40μm以下のMg2Si粒子とする粒子分散工程と、
を含み、
前記所定のマグネシウム合金は、AM602の難燃性マグネシウム合金であり、
前記珪素添加工程における前記珪素の添加量は、製造されるマグネシウム合金の質量に対する珪素の含有率に換算して、5.0〜15.0質量%の範囲で調節され、
前記珪素添加工程は、鋳造法を使用して行われ、
前記粒子分散工程は、塑性加工処理として押し出し法を使用して、200〜400℃の温度範囲で行われることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記粒子分散工程で、前記Mg2Si粒子の粒径が、0.5〜20μmの範囲とされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
