Vs=Σ[V1−V2−V3]
のガソリンエンジン等のエンジンにも適用可能である。さらに、本発明は、還元剤供給として、上述した一実施形態である尿素水供給のみならず、ガス状のNH3を直接供給する場合等において適用可能である。例えば、図1の一実施形態を利用する場合、尿素水噴射装置25の代わりにNH3ガス供給装置を用いることにより、NH3ガスを直接供給することができる。
Claims (1)
- 内燃機関の排気浄化装置であって、
内燃機関の排気通路に設けられ、還元剤であるNH3を捕捉すると共に、捕捉したNH3を用いて前記排気通路を流れるNOXを還元する選択還元触媒と、
前記排気通路内の前記選択還元触媒の上流側に前記還元剤を供給する還元剤供給手段と、
前記選択還元触媒内のNH3量を算出する手段と、
算出されたNH3量と前記内燃機関の運転状態とに応じて、前記還元剤供給手段による前記還元剤の供給量を設定する還元剤供給量設定手段とを備え、
前記内燃機関の回転数が閾値以下の場合において、
前記還元剤供給量設定手段は、前記算出されたNH 3 量がNH 3 吸着可能量よりも小さい吸着目標量以上であるときは、前記還元剤の供給量をゼロに設定し、前記ゼロに設定後、前記算出されたNH 3 量がアイドル運転状態においてNO X を還元するために最低限必要なNH 3 吸着下限目標量に達したときは、前記還元剤の供給量を供給精度が確保できる下限量に相当する噴射精度下限噴射量に設定する、内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
