Claims (2)
- 内燃機関の排気浄化装置であって、
内燃機関の排気通路に設けられ、還元剤であるNH3を捕捉すると共に、捕捉したNH3を用いて前記排気通路を流れるNOXを還元する選択還元触媒であって、第1選択還元触媒と、排気通路のうち第1選択還元触媒よりも下流側に設けられた第2選択還元触媒とを含む選択還元触媒と、
前記排気通路内の前記選択還元触媒の上流側に前記還元剤を供給する還元剤供給手段と、
前記排気通路のうち前記第1選択還元触媒と前記第2選択還元触媒との間のNH3濃度を検出するNH3検出手段と、
前記第1選択還元触媒内のNH3量を算出する手段と、
算出されたNH3量と前記第1選択還元触媒内の最大NH3ストレージ量との差分が減少するように、前記還元剤の供給量の第1補正量を設定する第1補正量設定手段と、
検出されたNH3濃度と目標NH3濃度との差分が減少するように、前記還元剤の供給量の第2補正量を設定する第2補正量設定手段と、
前記第1選択還元触媒内のNH 3 量を算出開始後から、前記第1選択還元触媒内のNH3量が最大NH3ストレージ量以上になるまでは、前記第1補正量のみを用いて前記還元剤の供給量を設定し、最大NH3ストレージ量に至ったときから、前記第2補正量を用いて前記還元剤の供給量を設定する還元剤供給量設定手段とを備えた、排気浄化装置。 - 前記還元剤供給量設定手段は、前記第1選択還元触媒内のNH3量が最大NH3ストレージ量に至った後も、前記第1補正量を継続して用いて前記還元剤の供給量を設定する、請求項1に記載の排気浄化装置。
