前記不純物が全体として3000ppm以下、前記不純物元素についてそれぞれ1000ppm以下である高純度炭剤を30質量%以上含有する炭剤と、
を混合・加熱して金属ケイ素材料を生成する還元工程と、
前記金属ケイ素材料を火炎中にて酸素と反応させて球状シリカとする酸化工程と、
を有することにある。
前記球状シリカを分散する有機樹脂材料と、
を混合する混合工程を有することにある。
本実施形態の球状シリカの製造方法は還元工程と酸化工程とその他必要な工程とを有する。
本実施形態の樹脂組成物の製造方法は、前述の球状シリカの製造方法にて製造された球状シリカと有機樹脂材料とを混合し、球状シリカを有機樹脂材料中に分散させる方法である。本樹脂組成物は半導体液状封止材として半導体素子の封止に用いることができるほか、基板材料、無機ペースト、接着剤、接着テープ、コーティング剤、精密成形樹脂などに用いることができる。
・試験2:不純物の総量が340ppm、不純物元素のうち、Pが1ppm以下、Naが60ppm、Kが80ppm、Caが20ppm、Alが90ppm、Feが30ppm含まれるケイ石と、不純物の総量が2230ppm、不純物元素のうち、Pが10ppm、Naが510ppm、Kが110ppm、Caが390ppm、Alが140ppm、Feが780ppm含まれる石油コークス(炭剤)とをケイ石:炭剤が2:1の質量比となるように混合した後、試験1と同様の方法で金属ケイ素材料を得た。
・試験3:試験1にて得られた球状シリカ(体積平均粒径0.5μm、比表面積6.0m2/g)100質量部をミキサーに投入しながら、0.05質量部の塩基性物質としてのHMDSを噴霧した。窒素を流通させながら更に15分間撹拌して塩基性物質にて表面処理を行った球状シリカを得た。
Claims (9)
- 金属元素及びリン元素からなる不純物が全体として3000ppm以下、不純物を構成する元素である不純物元素についてそれぞれ100ppm以下であるケイ石と、
前記不純物が全体として3000ppm以下、前記不純物元素についてそれぞれ1000ppm以下である高純度炭剤を30質量%以上含有する炭剤と、
を混合・加熱して金属ケイ素材料を生成する還元工程と、
前記金属ケイ素材料を火炎中にて酸素と反応させて球状シリカとする酸化工程と、
を有することを特徴とする球状シリカの製造方法。 - 前記炭剤は前記不純物が全体として3000ppm以下、前記不純物元素のそれぞれについて1000ppm以下である請求項1に記載の球状シリカの製造方法。
- 前記高純度炭剤は石油コークスである請求項1又は2に記載の球状シリカの製造方法。
- 前記金属ケイ素材料はアルカリ金属の総含有量が20ppm以下である請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の球状シリカの製造方法。
- 前記還元工程以後、前記酸化工程より前に、前記金属ケイ素材料を1450℃〜1800℃にて保持する精製工程を有する請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載の球状シリカの製造方法。
- 前記精製工程は、外部から電場を印加しながら撹拌を行い、前記不純物を偏析させた後、その偏析物を除去する工程をもつ請求項5に記載の球状シリカの製造方法。
- 前記還元工程より後、前記酸化工程より前に、前記金属ケイ素材料を熔解状態から徐冷して、前記不純物を偏析させた後、その偏析物を除去する工程をもつ請求項1〜6の何れか1項に記載の球状シリカの製造方法。
- 前記酸化工程より後に、前記球状シリカの表面を塩基性物質及び/又は塩基性混合物で処理する表面処理工程を有する請求項1〜7の何れか1項に記載の球状シリカの製造方法。

前記球状シリカを分散する有機樹脂材料と、
を混合する混合工程を有することを特徴とする樹脂組成物の製造方法。
