Description
図1において、本発明の第1実施形態を採用する自転車は人力よる駆動をモータユニット10により補助するアシスト自転車である。なお、以下の説明では、自転車の左右は、通常、自転車を後方から見たときに右にあるのを右とし、左にあるのを左と規定している。
右ブレーキレバー16fは、フロントブレーキケーブル113fによりフロントブレーキ装置107fに接続されている。左ブレーキレバー16rは、リアブレーキケーブル113rによりリアブレーキ装置107rに接続されている。右ブレーキレバー16fと、フロントブレーキ装置107fと、これらを接続するブレーキワイヤとを含んでフロントブレーキシステム117fが構成される。フロントブレーキシステム117fは、第1ブレーキシステムの一例である。また、左ブレーキレバー16rと、リアブレーキ装置107rと、これらを接続するブレーキワイヤとを含んでリアブレーキシステム117rが構成される。リアブレーキシステム117rは、第2ブレーキシステムの一例である。
図5及び図6に示すように、自転車に搭載される電装システム100は、電装品としてのリアキャリアユニット13と、モータユニット10と、ハンガーユニット122aと、フロントディレーラ108f及びリアディレーラ108rと、前照灯23と、表示装置18と、右ブレーキレバー16fおよび左ブレーキレバー16rとを備えている。これらの電装品が通信可能な第1電力線70a〜70gおよび第2電力線71により接続されている。図5において第1電力線70a〜70gを実線で示し、第2電力線71は第1電力線70a〜70gを示す線よりも太い線で示す。第1電力線70a〜70g及び第2電力線71は、2本の導線を含んで構成される。2本のうちの一方はグランドラインである。
図7に示すように、全体制御部12は、ソフトウェアで実現される機能構成として、変速制御部72と、アシスト制御部73と、回生制動制御部(回生制動制御装置の一例)74と、を有している。回生制動制御部74は、第1制御部75と、第2制御部76と、切換制御部77と、モード切換部78と、位置判断部79と、初期位置書換部80と、調整位置書込部81と、を有している。また、全体制御部12には、前述した蓄電部14及びモータユニット10等の電装品に加えて記憶部90が接続されている。記憶部90は、例えば、EEPROM(electrically erasable programmable read only memory)またはフラッシュメモリ等の不揮発メモリ素子で構成されており、最大調整位置記憶部91と、初期位置記憶部92と、固定電流値記憶部93と、可変電流値記憶部94と、を有している。
次に、回生制動制御部74の制御動作を図8、図9及び図10に示す制御フローチャートに基づいて説明する。なお、制御動作は、図8から図10に示す処理は本発明の制御動作の一例であり、本発明はこれに限定されない。図8から図10に示すフローチャートでは、右ブレーキレバー16fおよび左ブレーキレバー16rの初期位置、移動位置、最大調整位置については左右の文言を省略し、それらの符号に対して左右の別を示すrおよびfを付している。
以上、本発明の一実施形態について説明したが、本発明は上記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々の変更が可能である。

Claims (10)
- 自転車に装着可能な第1ブレーキシステムと第2ブレーキシステムの変位に関連してモータを制御する自転車用回生制動制御装置であって、
前記第1ブレーキシステムの第1変位量を検出する第1変位量検出部と、
前記第2ブレーキシステムの第2変位量を検出する第2変位量検出部と、
前記第1ブレーキシステムおよび前記第2ブレーキシステムが変位すると、前記第1変位量と前記第2変位量とにより得られた制動情報に応じた第1回生制動力を発生するように前記モータを制御する第1制御部と、を備え、
前記制動情報は、前記第1変位量と前記第2変位量とを加算して得られる、自転車用回生制動制御装置。 - 前記第1制御部は、前記第1変位量および第2変位量の増加に応じて、徐々に増加する前記第1回生制動力を発生するように前記モータを制御する、請求項1に記載の自転車用回生制動制御装置。
- 前記第1ブレーキシステムおよび前記第2ブレーキシステムが変位していないとき、一定の第2回生制動力を発生するように前記モータを制御する第2制御部をさらに備える、請求項1または2に記載の自転車用回生制動制御装置。
- 前記第2制御部による制御を行っているときに、前記第1ブレーキシステムおよび前記第2ブレーキシステムの少なくともいずれかが変位した場合、前記第1制御部による制御に切り換える切換制御部をさらに備える、請求項3に記載の自転車用回生制動制御装置。
- 前記切換制御部は、前記第2制御部による制御を行っているとき、前記第1ブレーキシステムおよび前記第2ブレーキシステムの少なくともいずれかが所定位置を超えて変位した場合、前記第1制御部による制御に切り換える、請求項4に記載の自転車用回生制動制御装置。
- 前記切換制御部により前記第2制御部による制御から前記第1制御部による制御に切り換えられた場合、前記第1制御部は、前記制動情報に応じて前記第2回生制動力以上となる前記第1回生制動力を発生させる、請求項4または5に記載の自転車用回生制動制御装置。
- 前記第1ブレーキシステムおよび前記第2ブレーキシステムの少なくともいずれかが変位した場合、前記切換制御部により前記第2制御部による制御から前記第1制御部による制御に切り換わる第1制動モードと、前記第1ブレーキシステムおよび前記第2ブレーキシステムの少なくともいずれかが変位すると、前記第1制御部による制御を行う第2制動モードとに切り換えるモード切換部をさらに備える、請求項4から6のいずれか1項に記載の自転車用回生制動制御装置。

- 前記第1制御部は、予め設定された最大出力電流に基づいて前記第1回生制動力の上限を設定する、請求項8に記載の自転車用回生制動制御装置。
- 第1ブレーキシステムおよび第2ブレーキシステムは、ブレーキレバー、ブレーキワイヤ、キャリパーブレーキ、カンチブレーキ、油圧ブレーキ、ブレーキシュー、ブレーキパッド、ローラブレーキの少なくともいずれか1つをそれぞれ含む、請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載の自転車用回生制動制御装置。
