Description
本発明の実施の形態1による鉛蓄電池1は、図1に示した複数セルで構成されたモノブロックタイプの電池であり、正極板2、負極板3およびセパレータ4を有した極板群5が電槽7内の、隔壁7aで区画されたセル室7b内に収納されている。なお、本発明の電池は液式であり、各セル室7b内に、少なくとも正極板2および負極板3の極板面を全て浸漬する電解液(図示せず)が注液されている。
本発明の実施の形態2による鉛蓄電池21は、前記の実施の形態1による電池1において、シート12およびこれに係るガス排出経路13の構成を変更したものであり、それ以外の部分、すなわち、極板群5、電槽7、蓋8および液口栓10およびこれに付随する各部の構成は、実施の形態1の電池1と共通である。
後述する本発明例及び比較例による電池(JIS D5301(始動用鉛蓄電池)において規定された80D26形電池)を製作し、各電池に振動を加えながら充電したときの、セル毎の減液量とセル室内の残留水素濃度を測定した。
実施例2では、実施例1で用いた本発明例の電池1および電池B、比較例の電池Eおよび電池Cについて、100mAで10時間充電した後、60分放置した時点で、蓋に電気発生装置から15kVの静電気を印加して、その時の電池状態を観察した。

Claims (4)
- 複数セルからなるモノブロックタイプの鉛蓄電池であり、電槽に接合した蓋のセル毎に設けた液口に装着され、電池内部のガスを排出するための排出口を設けた液口栓を有し、前記排出口を覆うよう、粘着剤もしくは接着剤で蓋に貼り合わせたシートを有し、前記各排出口毎に、前記蓋と前記シートとの間に粘着剤もしくは接着剤を配置しない部分を、ガス排出経路として、前記排出口と電池外部との間に設け、かつ各排気経路はそれぞれ実質上等距離、かつ、直線状に設け、前記シートの比抵抗を10 4 〜10 8 Ωmとしたことを特徴とする鉛蓄電池。
- 複数セルからなるモノブロックタイプの鉛蓄電池であり、電槽に接合した蓋のセル毎に列状に配置された液口に装着され、電池内部のガスを排出するための排出口を設けた液口栓を有し、前記排出口を覆うよう、粘着剤もしくは接着剤で蓋に貼り合わせたシートを有し、前記蓋と前記シートとの間に粘着剤もしくは接着剤を配置しない部分を、ガス排出経路として、前記各排出口を通過するよう、帯状に設け、前記シートの互いに隣接しあう排出口の間に、前記ガス排出経路と、前記シートの外側面とを連通する排気口を設けた鉛蓄電池。
- 前記シートの比抵抗を104〜108Ωmとしたことを特徴とする請求項2記載の鉛蓄電池。
- 前記蓋に設けた負極端子に前記シートを接触させた請求項1もしくは3に記載の鉛蓄電池。
