Description
Claims (10)
- 付属品(4)をプラスチック製の燃料タンクに、かしめによって結合させる方法であって、
付属品(4)に、それを真直ぐに貫通する少なくとも1つのオリフィスを設ける段階と、
燃料タンク(1)の壁を構成するプラスチックの少なくとも一部分を溶融させる段階と、
溶融させたプラスチックの一部分を、溶融させたプラスチックの残部から分離させないように、付属品のオリフィス(5)に押込む段階と、
突出した溶融プラスチックに、自己形成プラスチックリベットを形成する適当な形状(8)を付与し、突出した溶融プラスチックを放置して凝固させる段階と、を有し、
オリフィス(5)及び/又は凝固させたプラスチックの寸法及び形状(8)は、凝固させたプラスチック(8)の少なくとも一部分によって付属品(4)が燃料タンクに機械的に結合される寸法及び形状であり、
付属品(4)のかしめによる結合は、燃料タンク(1)の製造時、自身上に前記付属品が置かれたコア及び成形キャビティを備えた型を用いて、該成形キャビティを前記コアの周囲に位置させ、次いで分割式の又は少なくとも2部品からなる前記パリソンのスロット又は縁部が互いに溶接されることを阻止する装置を用いながら、前記型の最初の閉鎖時に該パリソンを前記成形キャビティ上に押し付けるブロー成形によりなされ、
その後、前記型を開き、該燃料タンクを周知のブロー成形法により成形するために型を再び閉じる前に前記コアを取り除く、
付属品をプラスチック製の燃料タンクにかしめによって結合させる方法。 - 燃料タンクは、HDPE(高密度ポリエチレン)(2,2′)を基本材料とし、
燃料タンクは、さらに、EVOH(エチレン及び部分加水分解ビニルアセテートのコポリマー)(3)の層を有し、又は、燃料タンクを燃料に対して不浸透性にするための表面処理が施される、請求項1記載の方法。 - 付属品(4)は、支持体(4′)を有し、この支持体は、燃料タンクの1つ又は複数個の機能装置(4″)のための結合手段を有しているか、1つ又は複数個の機能装置(4″)を直接支持するかのいずれかであり、前記オリフィス(5)は、前記支持体(4′)に設けられる、請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- 前記溶融させたプラスチックは、前記オリフィス(5)を完全には満たさない、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記オリフィス(5)は、長円形であり、前記形状(8)は、長円形又は半長円形の台地状である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記付属品(4)は、複数個の長円形オリフィス(5)と複数個の長円形又は半長円形の台地状部分とを備えた支持体(4′)を有し、
前記オリフィスは、それらの長手方向軸線が前記支持体(4′)のほぼ中心の箇所で交わるように配置される、請求項5記載の方法。 - 前記燃料タンクは、コアと、成形キャビティを構成する型とを両方用いるブロー成形又は圧縮/ブロー成形により作られ、
前記かしめによる結合は、型側に設けられたインサート(6)と、コア側に設けられ且つラムによって作動されるカウンター成形部(7)とを用いて行われる、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 更に、付属品(4)を前記コアの上に位置決めする段階と、
前記型の最初の閉鎖を行って、成形キャビティを前記コアの周りに配置する段階と、
前記コアを通してブロー成形し、且つ、前記成形キャビティを介して吸引することによって、分割式の又は少なくとも2部品からなるパリソン(1)を前記型の成形キャビティに押付ける段階と、
前記ラムを前進させてかしめを行う段階と、
針を前記パリソン(1)に刺す段階と、
ガス抜きし、前記型を開放し、前記コアを取出し、前記型の再閉鎖を行って、ブロー成形する段階と、を有する請求項7記載の方法。 - 前記インサート(6)は、スパイク形状の突起を支持し、この突起は、丸いコーナー部を有し、約45゜の角度をなす、請求項7又は8記載の方法。
- 前記カウンター成形部(7)は、液圧ラムを介して、圧力を前記付属品(4)だけに及ぼすか、圧力を付属品とそれを包囲する前記燃料タンクの前記壁の前記溶融プラスチックに少なくとも部分的に及ぼすかのいずれかである、請求項7〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
