Description
また、ミシン目や破断線、更にはカット線などを設けて開封の便を図る提案も多くなされている。
更には、紙カップ用の蓋には、ホットメルトを最内層にする場合が多い。
本発明のバリア性を有する蓋は、外層の金属箔層で気密性を十分に確保できながら、内側の層にミシン目やカット線などの強度弱点部をその中心から放射状に設けることによって、容易に押し破ることができ、併せて蓋の破片が生じるおそれも上手く解消できるようになった。また、最内層はポリエチレンのシーラント層を有するので、カップのフランジやカールにある段差の存在にかかわらず、これを上手く密閉でき、気密性を十分に確保できるようになった。更には、ホットメルトを採用しないために、安定したシール性が得られ、また、臭気の影響もなくすことができるようになった。
尚、この発明は、基本的には、紙カップにシールされるバリア性を有する蓋で、蓋を破ることによって開封する態様のもの全般に適用できる。したがって、以下の実施例に記載の構造に限定されるものではないことは改めて言うまでもない。
(実施例1)
このバリア性を有する蓋4は、図1に示すように、最内層7はポリエチレンのシーラント層8を含む樹脂層で、この最内層7の樹脂層の外側に接着剤層9を介して金属箔層10が貼着された複合シートが採用され、更に前記最内層7にはその中央から放射状に複数本の強度弱点部11が設けられていて、この強度弱点部11によって前記最内層7を含み金属箔層10も容易に破れて、開封し易くしてある。
最内層7は最下層が40μのポリエチレン(線状手低密度ポリエチレン:LLDPE)のシーラント層8で、このポリエチレンのシーラント層8の上面に20μのポリエチレン(低密度ポリエチレン:LDPE)の押出し樹脂フィルム12がラミネートされている。また、金属箔層10は9μのアルミニウム箔13が採用されていて、このアルミニウム箔13の下面に15μのポリエチレン(低密度ポリエチレン:LDPE)の押出し樹脂フィルム14がラミネートされている。そして、前記最下層のポリエチレンのシーラント層8と金属箔層10のアルミニウム箔13との前記ラミネート樹脂層12、14が12μのポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)の接着剤層9を介して互いに接着されて、複合シートに形成されている。この複合シートの処理の手段は、上記以外にも公知の技術が採用され、ラミネートや塗着などの一般的な手法である。
先ず、保護キャップ5を取り外し、次いで図5並びに図6に示すように、容器本体2を逆さにし、ホッパ3の漏斗3Bを補充用の容器の一例であるジャー15の円筒状の口部15Aに内嵌合出来る位置に宛がう。容器本体2内のインスタントコーヒーPはホッパ3から漏斗3B内にも流下してきているが、蓋4によって保持されている。次いで、図7並びに図8に示すように、容器本体2に、その漏斗3Bをジャー15の口部15Aへ向かって押し込むように押圧力を負荷する。この押圧力は、ジャー15の口部15A、一般的には本体から円筒状に立ち上がる筒上部分が蓋4を押し破るための力として働く。すなわち、このジャー15の口部15Aが蓋4を押し上げて、これをホッパ3の立ち上がり壁3Aと漏斗3Bとの間の断面三角形上の空間S内に押し込む力として機能する。この押圧力が付加された蓋4は、強度弱点部11であるミシン目が放射状に設けられているために、たちまちの内に極めて容易にこのミシン目に沿って複数の分割片に破断分割される。同時にこの漏斗3Bはジャー15の口部15A内に入り込む。その結果、前記ホッパ3の漏斗3Bの開口3B1が開放され、容器本体2内のインスタントコーヒーPが、ホッパ3の漏斗3Bによって、センターへと案内されつつ、一挙にジャー15内へ案内流下される。ジャー15へ補充を終えたこの詰め替え用容器1は破棄される。図中2Bは容器本体2の底部である。
次に、本発明に係るバリア性を有する蓋の別の構造を、図9の記載を参照しながら、以下説明する。
この別の構造は、実施例1と同等の効果を得ることができる上に、蓋の開封性をより分かり易くし、併せて強度弱点部の加工が一層的確に行えるようにしたものである。また、実施例1と同様の構成については同じ符号を付してその詳細な説明は省略する。

- ポリエチレンのシーラント層を含む樹脂層からなる最内層と、アルミニウム箔を含む金属箔層と、前記最内層と前記金属箔層との間に設けられた紙層とからなる蓋であって、
前記最内層には中央から放射状に複数本の強度弱点部が設けられ、
前記強度弱点部に沿って破断することにより開封し易くしたバリア性を有する蓋。 - 前記強度弱点部はミシン目かカット線のいずれかである請求項1記載のバリア性を有する蓋。
- 前記強度弱点部は、中心点周りに周方向に同一の中心角をもって少なくとも三本以上設けられている請求項1又は請求項2の何れかに記載のバリア性を有する蓋。
