前記円偏光部材は、複数の前記発光色より選択される少なくとも1つの発光色に対する透過率が他の発光色に対する透過率よりも大きく、
前記電荷注入層は、前記選択される発光色の光を吸収し、
前記選択される発光色を呈する副画素を構成する発光素子の電荷注入層の膜厚は、前記選択される発光色とは異なる発光色を呈する副画素を構成する発光素子の前記電荷注入層の膜厚より薄いことを特徴とする。

Claims (7)
- 基板と、前記基板の上に形成されている複数の画素と、前記複数の画素の上に設けられている円偏光部材と、を有し、
前記各画素は、互いに発光色が異なる複数の副画素から構成されており、前記各副画素は、陽極と、陰極と、前記陽極と前記陰極との間に形成されている発光層と電荷注入層と、を有する発光素子で構成される表示装置において、
前記円偏光部材は、複数の前記発光色より選択される少なくとも1つの発光色に対する透過率が他の発光色に対する透過率よりも大きく、
前記電荷注入層は、前記選択される発光色の光を吸収し、
前記選択される発光色を呈する副画素を構成する発光素子の電荷注入層の膜厚は、前記選択される発光色とは異なる発光色を呈する副画素を構成する発光素子の前記電荷注入層の膜厚より薄いことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記選択される発光色を呈する副画素を構成する発光素子が多層干渉膜構造を有し、前記多層干渉膜構造の分光反射率は、前記選択される発光色の発光波長域に最小値若しくは極小値を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記電荷注入層は、金属酸化物を含むことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の表示装置。
- 前記電荷注入層は、アルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属と、有機化合物と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の表示装置。
- 前記選択される発光色は、前記複数の副画素の中で発光効率が最も低い副画素が呈する発光色であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記選択される発光色は、前記複数の副画素の中で発光半減寿命が最も短い副画素が呈する発光色であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記選択される発光色は、青色であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
