本実施例は、図1に示した構造を有する色変換発光デバイスの作製を例示する。
本実施例は、図2に示した構造を有する色変換発光デバイスの作製を例示する。
ダイクロイックフィルタ2に代えて、市販のカラーフィルタ材料(CR−7001、富士フイルムエレクトロニクスマテリアルズ株式会社製)を用いたフォトリソグラフ法により赤色カラーフィルタを形成したことを除いて、実施例1を繰り返して色変換発光デバイスを得た。なお赤色カラーフィルタは、膜厚1μm、幅0.1mm、ピッチ0.33mmのストライプ形状を有した。
各実施例および比較例において、同一の駆動条件を適用した際に得られる発光色および輝度を測定した結果を第1表に示す。なお、第1表において、発光色は比較例のデバイスを基準とした色度差で示され、輝度は比較例のデバイスの輝度を1とした相対値で示されている。

Claims (3)
- 透明基板と、該透明基板上に互いに独立して配設される少なくとも3種の異なる出力波長分布を有する光出力部とを含み、前記光出力部は入射光の一部を透過させるカラーフィルタ層、および入射光を吸収して異なる波長分布の光を出力する色変換層の少なくとも一方を含む色変換フィルタであって、
第1および第2の光出力部は、それぞれ第1の出力波長域および第2の出力波長域の光を出力し、
第1の光出力部は、色変換層と、透明基板と色変換層との間に第1の出力波長域の光を透過し、その他の波長域の光を反射させる第1のダイクロイックフィルタを有し、
第2の光出力部は、色変換層を含み、
第1の光出力部の色変換層と、第2の光出力部の色変換層とは、同一の材料で構成されており、
第1の光出力部の色変換層および第2の光出力部の色変換層は、入射光を吸収して第1の出力波長域の光を放射する色素および入射光を吸収して第2の出力波長域の光を放射する色素を含む
ことを特徴とする色変換フィルタ。 - 第1〜第3の3種の光出力部を含み、
第2の光出力部は、色変換層と、透明基板と色変換層との間に第2のダイクロイックフィルタとを有し、該第2のダイクロイックフィルタは第2の出力波長域の光を透過し、その他の波長域の光を反射し、
第3の光出力部は、色変換層とカラーフィルタとを有し、および、
第1から第3の光出力部の色変換層が同一の材料で形成されており、
第1から第3の光出力部の色変換層は、入射光を吸収して第1の出力波長域の光を放射する色素および入射光を吸収して第2の出力波長域の光を放射する色素を含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の色変換フィルタ。 - 請求項1または2に記載の色変換フィルタと、一対の電極に挟持された有機EL層を含む有機EL素子とを含むことを特徴とする色変換発光デバイス。
