Description
Claims (25)
- 前方端部と後端部とを有し、中に薬剤が入れられ得るリザーバを区画形成するバレルと、
前記リザーバに配置された可動のストッパーであって、前記薬剤に前記リザーバから出されることを引き起こすべく、前記リザーバ内で動くことが可能であるストッパーと、
前記バレルの前記前方端部に接続され、前記リザーバと直接的に流体連通状態にある針カニューレと
を備える注射器アセンブリと、そして、
前記バレルの前記前方端部に接する第1シールドと、
第1位置から第2位置まで動くことができる第2シールドであって、前記第2シールドが前記第2位置にあるとき、前記針カニューレの前方先端部が前記第2シールド内にある第2シールドと、
前記第2位置に向けて前記第2シールドを付勢するための付勢手段と、
前記第1位置に前記第2シールドを保持するための保持手段と、
を備えるシールドシステムと、
を備え、
さらに、前記注射器アセンブリは、前記バレルの前記前方端部に可動に結合され、そして前記リザーバと流体連通状態にある針アセンブリを備え、前記針アセンブリは、前記バレル内の前記ストッパーの動きに基づき、展開位置まで動くことができ、
さらに、前記シールドシステムは、前記針アセンブリの動きに合わせ、そして展開位置までの前記バレル内での前記ストッパーの動きに基づいて、前記保持手段を解放するための解放手段を備えることを特徴とする、患者に薬剤を送達するための医用デバイス。 - 前記シールドシステムが、前記リザーバを、そしてその中に入れられた前記薬剤を視覚的に妨げないように、前記リザーバの前部に位置付けられるように、前記シールドシステムは、前記注射器アセンブリに配置されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記第2シールドが前記第1位置にあるとき、前記第2シールドは、前記第1シールド内に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記第2シールドは、前記バレルに面する前記第2シールドの端部にフランジを備え、前記保持手段は、前記第1位置に前記第2シールドを保持するために前記フランジに作用することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記保持手段は、前記フランジとの相互作用のための保持部材を有する可撓性アームを備えることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記解放手段は、前記針カニューレに接して配置され、前記針カニューレを伴いつつ、前記バレルの前記前方端部の開口部に密閉するように差し込まれた管状要素を備えることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記ストッパーが前記バレル内に完全に差し込まれる前に、前記ストッパーが接触位置で前記管状要素に接触するように、前記管状要素は前記バレルの中へ延び、前記ストッパーが前記接触位置から前記解放手段の展開位置まで動くことで、前記管状要素は前記ストッパーによって動かせられ、前記管状要素が前記ストッパーによって動かされるとき、前記管状要素は前記保持手段の前記可撓性アームを径方向外側へ押しやることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記付勢手段は、前記管状要素と前記第2シールドとの間に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記管状要素は、管状部分と、前記管状部分の2つの長手方向の端部間に配置されたフランジ部分とを備え、前記管状部分は、前記針カニューレを支持するために剛性材料から形作られ、前記フランジ部分は、前記バレルの前記前方端部にシールを提供するのに十分な可撓性を有する可撓性材料から形作られていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記フランジ部分は、前記第2シールドを解放するべく、前記保持手段と相互に作用することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記付勢手段は、前記管状要素の前記フランジ部分と、前記第2シールドとの間に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記第2シールドが前記第2位置まで動かされたとき、前記第2位置に前記第2シールドの前記フランジを保持するための口部を、前記第1シールドの前端部は備えていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記第2位置で前記第2シールドをロックするためのロッキングデバイスをさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記針カニューレの長手方向軸に関して前記第2シールドのずれを引き起こすために、前記第2シールドが前記第2位置まで動かされたとき、前記第2シールドの前記フランジを拘束するために、互いから軸方向にずれた第1および第2部分を、前記口部は含んでいることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記ロッキングデバイスは、前記フランジに、前記第2シールドが前記第2位置に向けて動くとき、前記ロッキングデバイスを通過することを許容し、前記第2シールドが前記第2位置から前記第1位置に向けて後方に動くことを防止することを特徴とする請求項13に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記第2シールドは、前記第2シールドの第1端部と第2端部との間に環状隆起部を備え、前記保持手段は、前記環状隆起部と相互に作用する、前記第1シールドの前端部に配置された口部を備えていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記解放手段は前記針カニューレに接して配置され、前記バレルに面するハブ部分を備えた管状要素を備え、前記ストッパーは前記ストッパーが前記バレル内に完全に差し込まれる前に接触位置で前記ハブ部分に接触し、前記管状要素とハブとは、前記ストッパーが前記接触位置から前記バレル内の前記完全に差し込まれた位置まで動かされるとき、前記ストッパーによって長手方向に動くことが可能であり、前記管状要素は、前記ストッパーが完全に差し込まれたとき前記第2シールドを解放するべく前記環状隆起部が前記口部を通過するように、前記第2シールドを動かすことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記バレルは、円筒状バレル部分と、前記円筒状バレル部分とは異なる直径を有する前円筒状部分と、そして、前記前円筒状部分と前記円筒状バレル部分との間の移行部分とを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記解放手段は、前記針カニューレに配置され、前記前円筒状部分によって区画形成された開口部に前記針カニューレを伴って密閉するように差し込まれた管状要素を備えることを特徴とする請求項18に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記第1シールドは、前記前円筒状部分の外側表面に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記円筒状バレル部分は、プラスチック材料から作られていることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記円筒状バレル部分はガラス材料から作られていることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記円筒状バレル部分はガラス材料から作られ、前記前円筒状部分はプラスチック材料から作られていることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記第1シールドは、スナップ式接続、接着剤、ねじ結合、溶接、そして熱溶着の内の一つによって、前記前円筒状部分の前記外側表面に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の医用デバイス。
- 前記可動の針アセンブリは、前記バレルの前方端部に連結された針プッシャーと、前記針プッシャーによって支えられ、前記リザーバと流体連通状態の前方先端部と後端部とを有する針カニューレとを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医用デバイス。
