Description
Claims (9)
- 無電極放電ランプをオンにするオン期間と、前記ランプをオフにするオフ期間とを交互に繰り返すことで前記ランプを調光点灯させる無電極放電ランプ用調光自在電子安定器であって、
可変の駆動周波数の駆動信号に応じて、DC電源回路からのDC電力をその駆動周波数に対応する動作周波数の高周波電力に変換するインバータ回路と、
前記高周波電力を受けて、共振特性に基づいて前記動作周波数に応じた可変出力の高周波共振電力を生成する共振回路と、
前記高周波共振電力を受けて高周波電磁界を発生し、その電磁界を前記ランプに印加する誘導コイルと、
可変の時定数を持ち、前記高周波共振電力によって前記コイルに印加される電圧を、前記ランプを始動及び再始動するための始動電圧及び再始動電圧よりも低い電圧からその始動電圧及び再始動電圧よりも高い電圧に上げるように、始動又は再始動用時定数で前記駆動周波数をスイープする始動回路とを備え、
前記ランプを調光させる調光期間において最初のオン期間で前記ランプを始動させるための始動用時定数は、前記調光期間において2回目以降のオン期間で前記ランプを再始動させるための再始動用時定数よりも大きく設定されていることを特徴とする無電極放電ランプ用調光自在電子安定器。 - 前記始動回路は、デューティが可変である第1及び第2レベルを繰り返す調光制御信号を受け、各第1レベルに応じて、前記コイルに印加される電圧を、前記再始動電圧よりも低い電圧からその再始動電圧よりも高い電圧に上げるように、前記再始動用時定数で前記駆動周波数を周期的にスイープし、
前記ランプは、前記調光制御信号に従って点灯及び消灯を繰り返し、前記デューティに対応する調光率で点灯する
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の無電極放電ランプ用調光自在電子安定器。 - 前記始動回路は、前記調光制御信号の各第2レベルの間、前記駆動周波数を消灯用周波数に周期的に切り替え、前記消灯用周波数は、前記コイルに印加される電圧を前記ランプを点灯するのに必要な電圧よりも低い電圧に下げるための周波数であることを特徴とする請求項2記載の無電極放電ランプ用調光自在電子安定器。
- 前記インバータ回路は、前記調光制御信号の各第2レベルの間、それ自体の出力を周期的に停止することを特徴とする請求項2記載の無電極放電ランプ用調光自在電子安定器。
- 前記始動回路は、前記始動用時定数及び前記再始動用時定数を連続的にスイープ・ダウンすることを特徴とする請求項2記載の無電極放電ランプ用調光自在電子安定器。
- 前記始動回路は、制御信号発生装置と接続され、
前記制御信号発生装置は、前記調光制御信号を前記始動回路に出力し、また前記調光制御信号の各第2レベルのデューティをその調光制御信号の出力時点から増大し、前記デューティは、ゼロから所定値まで増大される
ことを特徴とする請求項2記載の無電極放電ランプ用調光自在電子安定器。 - 前記始動回路は、制御信号発生装置と接続され、
前記制御信号発生装置は、前記ランプの共振特性が点灯モードの共振に切り替わる時点から50msの時間が経過する前に前記調光制御信号を前記始動回路に出力する
ことを特徴とする請求項2記載の無電極放電ランプ用調光自在電子安定器。 - 前記始動期間にスイープする直前の第1動作周波数は、前記再始動期間にスイープする直前の第2動作周波数よりも低く、前記第1動作周波数によって前記コイルに印加される電圧は、前記第2動作周波数によって前記コイルに印加される電圧よりも高いことを特徴とする請求項2記載の無電極放電ランプ用調光自在電子安定器。
- 請求項2記載の無電極放電ランプ用調光自在電子安定器を備え、前記ランプが装備される照明器具。
