Claims (7)
- 第1のベルト端部と、第2のベルト端部とを継ぎ合わせて継合ベルトを得る方法において、
前記第1のベルト端部の端面は、少なくとも一部が突出して凸部が形成され、前記第2のベルト端部の端面に前記凸部に対して相補的な形状を有する凹部が形成されており、
前記第1及び第2のベルト端部の少なくともいずれか一方の端面に接着剤を塗布し、前記凹部に前記凸部を嵌め込み前記両端部の端面を突き合わせて、前記両端面同士を前記接着剤によって接合させ、さらに前記凸部の先端部とその先端部が嵌め込まれた凹部の底部とを熱融着することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記両端面の突き合わせ部分をベルト幅方向に挟圧して、前記端面同士を前記接着剤によって接合させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- ベース部と、そのベース上面に設けられた壁部と、前記ベース上面において前記壁部に対向するように配置された可動部とを備える加圧型を用意し、前記ベース上面の前記壁部と可動部の間に前記突き合わせ部分を載置し、前記可動部を前記壁部に近づくように変位させ、前記可動部と前記壁部によって前記突き合わせ部分を挟圧することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記熱融着は、超音波振動によって行われることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のベルト端部は、複数の前記凸部が突出してフィンガー状に形成されると共に、前記第2のベルト端部は、前記第1のベルト端部に対して相補的な形状のフィンガー状に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のベルト端部はベルトの一方の端部であって、前記第2のベルト端部は前記ベルトの他方の端部であって、前記継合ベルトは無端状ベルトであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第1のベルト端部と、第2のベルト端部とを継ぎ合わせて継合ベルトを得る方法において、
前記第1のベルト端部の端面及び前記第2のベルト端部の端面の少なくともいずれか一方に接着剤を塗布してこれらを突き合わせて、前記両端部の端面同士を前記接着剤によって接合させ、さらに前記突き合わせ部分のうち、前記両端部の端面同士の間に欠点が形成される箇所を熱融着させることを特徴とする方法。
