Claims (8)
- 柱状体を呈し、その柱状体の軸方向に並行して形成された複数の圧電駆動部を有し、その複数の圧電駆動部は、それぞれ交互に積層をされた複数の圧電体層と複数の電極層とが焼成一体化されてなり、
前記柱状体が筒形の角柱状体であり、その角柱状体の隅部に前記電極層を挟まず前記圧電体層のみが焼成一体化された部位を有し、
前記複数の圧電駆動部に、位相の異なる交流電圧信号が印加されることにより、前記複数の圧電駆動部が前記軸方向に伸長乃至収縮の変位を生じ、前記柱状体の端面に、周回する進行波が発生するものであり、前記圧電駆動部における圧電体層と電極層の前記積層の方向が前記柱状体の軸方向に垂直な方向であり、前記圧電駆動部が生じる前記変位が圧電体層の電界誘起歪みの横効果に基づく変位である圧電ステータ素子。 - 前記柱状体の軸方向に並行して形成された4つの圧電駆動部を有し、
前記4つの圧電駆動部のうち、2組の対向する2つの圧電駆動部に、逆位相の交流電圧信号が印加され、且つ、隣接する圧電駆動部に、90度の位相差の交流電圧信号が印加されることにより、前記4つの圧電駆動部が交流電圧信号の位相のずれに応じて変位を生じるとともに、前記2組の対向する2つの圧電駆動部において各組における一方が前記軸方向に伸長の変位を生じ他方が前記軸方向に収縮の変位を生じ、前記柱状体の端面に、周回する進行波が発生する請求項1に記載の圧電ステータ素子。 - 前記複数の圧電駆動部に位相の異なる交流電圧信号を印加するための信号電極端子及び共通電極端子が備わり、その信号電極端子及び共通電極端子が全て前記柱状体の対となる2つの側面の何れかに配設されている請求項1又は2に記載の圧電ステータ素子。
- のちに前記圧電体層となる、圧電材料を主成分とするグリーンシートに、
のちに前記電極層となる、導電材料からなる電極パターンを形成し、
そのグリーンシートを積層してグリーン積層体を得て、そのグリーン積層体を焼成して得られるものであり、
前記複数の圧電駆動部を含む全体が焼成一体化されており、且つ、前記複数の圧電駆動部を構成する複数の圧電体層と複数の電極層の前記積層の方向が一方向である請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の圧電ステータ素子。 - 請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載の圧電ステータ素子を主構成要素とするステータと、前記圧電ステータ素子の前記柱状体の端面に加圧接触して設けられ前記周回する進行波により回転するロータと、を有するマイクロ超音波モータ。
- 請求項1に記載の圧電ステータ素子の製造方法であって、
のちに前記圧電体層となる、圧電材料を主成分とするグリーンシートに、
のちに空洞となる窓部を形成するとともに、
のちに前記電極層となる、導電材料からなる電極パターンを形成し、
そのグリーンシートを積層してグリーン積層体を得て、そのグリーン積層体を焼成一体化して焼成積層体を得る圧電ステータ素子の製造方法。 - 前記窓部を複数形成するとともに、焼成一体化後の前記焼成積層体を切断して、複数の圧電ステータ素子を得る請求項6に記載の圧電ステータ素子の製造方法。
- 前記複数の圧電駆動部を構成する複数の圧電体層と複数の電極層の前記積層の方向が一方向となるように、前記グリーンシートを積層する請求項6又は7に記載の圧電ステータ素子の製造方法。
