Description
Claims (8)
- 車両用エンジンの吸気通路又は排気通路を開閉可能な開閉弁と、同エンジンの吸排気の流れにより発電可能な発電機とを備えた車両用エンジンシステムに適用され、
車両の減速時に目標とする減速度を実現するべく、エンジンブレーキにより車両に伝達される制動力を前記開閉弁の開閉制御によって調整する制御装置であって、
エンジンブレーキ中に前記発電機の発電を許可する発電許可手段と、
前記許可手段により発電が許可された場合に、前記発電機の発電の状態を制御する発電制御手段と、
前記発電機の発電に伴う前記制動力の増加分を算出する算出手段と、
前記算出手段により算出した制動力の増加分を相殺するように、前記開閉弁を開側に制御する制御手段と、
を備えていることを特徴とする車両用エンジンシステムの制御装置。 - 排気動力により吸入空気を過給する過給機と、電動機により前記過給機の動力をアシストする動力アシスト装置とを備えた車両用エンジンシステムに適用され、
前記発電機は、排気動力により発電可能な前記電動機であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用エンジンシステムの制御装置。 - 前記過給機として可動ベーンを開閉することによりノズル開度を調整可能な可変ノズル式ターボチャージャを用いた車両用エンジンシステムに適用され、
前記許可手段により発電が許可された場合に、排気動力による前記発電機の回転速度が高くなるように前記可動ベーンを制御する手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車両用エンジンシステムの制御装置。 - 排気の一部を吸気系に環流するために吸気通路と排気通路とを連通する連通路と、同連通路において排気の環流量を調整するための調整弁とを備えた車両用エンジンシステムに適用され、
前記許可手段により発電が許可された場合に、前記調整弁を閉側に制御する手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の車両用エンジンシステムの制御装置。 - 前記開閉弁は、吸気通路を開閉可能なスロットルバルブであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の車両用エンジンシステムの制御装置。
- 前記発電許可手段は、エンジンブレーキ中であり且つ前記車両用エンジンに燃料を供給していない場合に、前記発電機の発電を許可することを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の車両用エンジンシステムの制御装置。
- 前記発電機の発電量と同発電機の発電に伴い前記車両に伝達される制動力との関係を予め規定しておき、前記算出手段は、前記予め規定した関係に基づき前記発電機の発電量から同発電機の発電により前記車両に伝達される制動力を算出することを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の車両用エンジンシステムの制御装置。
- 前記発電機により発電可能な最大発電量を算出する手段と、
前記発電可能な最大発電量をなまし処理して目標発電量を算出する手段と、
を備え、
前記発電制御手段は、前記目標発電量に基づいて前記発電機の発電の状態を制御することを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載の車両用エンジンシステムの制御装置。
