Description
信号に基づいてその開度が制御される。一方、各気筒112は共通のエキゾーストマニホールド80に連結され、このエキゾーストマニホールド80は三元触媒コンバータ90に連結されている。
たとえば、エンジン10が冷えている状態においてエンジン10の始動直後は、図2〜図4のいずれにも該当しない、非通常運転としてエンジン10がエンジンECU300により制御される。このとき、触媒が活性化されていない状態であって、この状態で排気ガスが大気に放出されることは避けなければならない。このため、この場合には成層燃焼モードとなり、筒内噴射用インジェクタ110により燃料が噴射されて、成層燃焼が行なわれる。この場合、このような成層燃焼が行なわれるのは、数秒間から数十秒間である。
エンジン10の始動後からエンジン10の温度は上昇する。エンジン10の温度(エンジン水温THW)が予め定められた温度しきい値(たとえば80℃)以上になるまでは(S110にてNO)、冷間マップ(図3)が選択される。
さらに、エンジン10の温度は上昇して、エンジン10の温度(エンジン水温THW)が予め定められた温度しきい値(たとえば80℃)以上になると(S110にてYES)、温間マップ(図2)が選択される。
Claims (9)
- 筒内に燃料を噴射するための第1の燃料噴射手段と吸気通路内に燃料を噴射するための第2の燃料噴射手段とを備えた内燃機関の制御装置であって、
前記内燃機関の始動後において、アイドル時の触媒暖機時でない場合には、均質燃焼のみを行なうように、前記内燃機関の運転状態に対応させた情報に基づいて、前記第1の燃料噴射手段と前記第2の燃料噴射手段とを制御するための制御手段を含み、
前記情報は、予め定められた高回転数領域へ移行するに伴い第1の燃料噴射手段の噴射比率が増大する情報である、内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記情報は、前記内燃機関の温度が異なると、前記第1の燃料噴射手段および前記第2の燃料噴射手段の制御領域が異なるように設定された情報であって、
前記制御装置は、前記内燃機関の温度を検知するための検知手段をさらに含み、
前記制御手段は、前記検知された温度および前記情報に基づいて、燃料噴射手段を制御するための手段を含む、請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記情報は、内燃機関の温度が低いほど、前記第2の燃料噴射手段の制御領域が高回転数領域まで拡大する情報である、請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記情報は、予め定められた高負荷領域へ移行するに伴い第1の燃料噴射手段の噴射比率が減少する情報である、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記制御装置は、アイドル時の触媒暖機時であるときには、成層燃焼を行なうように、前記第1の燃料噴射手段を制御するための手段をさらに含む、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記情報は、内燃機関の温度が高いときであって、予め定められた低負荷領域では第1の燃料噴射手段のみが使用される情報である、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記情報は、内燃機関の温度が低いときであって、予め定められた低負荷領域では第2の燃料噴射手段のみが使用される情報である、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記情報は、内燃機関の回転数と負荷率とにより規定される、前記第1の燃料噴射手段と前記第2の燃料噴射手段との分担比率を表わす情報を含む、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記第1の燃料噴射手段は、筒内噴射用インジェクタであって、
前記第2の燃料噴射手段は、吸気通路用インジェクタである、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
