Description
Claims (2)
- 直流入力電圧を受けて所望の直流電圧に変換するための直流−直流変換回路と、放電灯への投入電力を制御するための制御回路を備え、
上記放電灯を冷えた状態から点灯を開始して定常点灯状態に達するまでの過渡期に定格電力を越える電力が投入された後、時間経過に従って該放電灯への投入電力を低減させるように構成された車両用灯具に用いられる放電灯点灯装置において、
上記制御回路には、上記過渡期において、個体差のある上記放電灯に対して投入される投入電力が予め規定された上限電力線より大きい電力を投入しようとする際に上記上限電力線を超えないように規制する最大電力規制回路が設けられ、
上記最大電力規制回路は、抵抗とコンデンサによる時定数回路を有し、
上記上限電力線として、第1の期間において一定電力となる第1の上限電力線が定められ、
上記第1の期間経過後の第2の期間において、上記時定数回路のコンデンサの両端電圧の信号を受けて時間の経過につれて指数関数に従って低下する第2の上限電力線が定められ、
上記規制が行われる場合には上記第1及び上記第2の上限電力線に基づいて出力信号を出力し、
上記制御回路は、誤差演算部と、該誤差演算部からの信号に応じて制御信号を生成して上記直流−直流変換回路に送出する制御信号生成部とを有し、
上記誤差演算部の一方の入力信号として所定の基準信号が供給され、他方の入力信号として、放電灯に係る電圧又は電流の検出情報に基づいて算出される電力制御信号に対して上記出力信号を重畳した信号が供給される
ことを特徴とする車両用灯具に用いられる放電灯点灯装置。 - 直流入力電圧を受けて所望の直流電圧に変換するための直流−直流変換回路と、放電灯への投入電力を制御するための制御回路を備え、
上記放電灯を冷えた状態から点灯を開始して定常点灯状態に達するまでの過渡期に定格電力を越える電力が投入された後、時間経過に従って該放電灯への投入電力を低減させるように構成された、車両用灯具に用いられる放電灯点灯装置において、
上記制御回路には、上記過渡期において、個体差のある上記放電灯に対して投入される投入電力が予め規定された上限電力線より大きい電力を投入しようとする際に上記上限電力線を超えないように規制する最大電力規制回路が設けられ、
上記最大電力規制回路は、定電流源とコンデンサが直列接続された充電回路を有し、
上記上限電力線として、第1の期間において一定電力となる第1の上限電力線が定められ、
上記第1の期間経過後の第2の期間において、上記充電回路のコンデンサの両端電圧の信号を受けて時間の経過につれて1次関数に従って低下する第2の上限電力線が定められ、
上記規制が行われる場合には上記第1及び上記第2の上限電力線に基づいて出力信号を出力し、
上記制御回路は、誤差演算部と、該誤差演算部からの信号に応じて制御信号を生成して上記直流−直流変換回路に送出する制御信号生成部とを有し、
上記誤差演算部の一方の入力信号として所定の基準信号が供給され、他方の入力信号として、放電灯に係る電圧又は電流の検出情報に基づいて算出される電力制御信号に対して上記出力信号を重畳した信号が供給される
ことを特徴とする車両用灯具に用いられる放電灯点灯装置。
