Description
100質量部のポリブタジエン(JSR社の商品名「BR−730」)、35質量部のアクリル酸亜鉛、適量の酸化亜鉛、0.7質量部のビス(ペンタブロモフェニル)ジスルフィド及び0.9質量部のジクミルパーオキサイドを混練し、ゴム組成物を得た。このゴム組成物を共に半球状キャビティを備えた上型及び下型からなる金型に投入し、170℃の温度下で15分間加熱して、直径が38.5mmであるコアを得た。このコアの質量は、34.9gであった。
カバーの厚みとタイプとを下記の表2に示される通りとした他は実施例1と同様にして、実施例2及び3のゴルフボールを得た。
カバーのタイプを下記の表2に示される通りとした他は実施例1と同様にして、実施例4から6及び比較例1のゴルフボールを得た。
中間層の厚みとカバーの厚みとを下記の表3に示される通りとした他は実施例1と同様にして、実施例7のゴルフボールを得た。
中間層の厚み並びにカバーの厚み及びタイプを下記の表3に示される通りとした他は実施例1と同様にして、比較例2のゴルフボールを得た。
補強層の厚みを下記の表3に示される通りとした他は実施例1と同様にして、実施例8及び9のゴルフボールを得た。補強層を設けなかった他は実施例1と同様にして、実施例10のゴルフボールを得た。
補強層に二液硬化型ウレタン樹脂を基材ポリマーとする塗料組成物を用いた他は実施例1と同様にして、実施例11のゴルフボールを得た。この塗料組成物の生成では、まず、116質量部のPTMG及び16質量部の1,2,6−ヘキサントリオールを120質量部の溶剤(トルエンとメチルエチルケトンとの混合液)に溶解した。この液に、その濃度が0.1質量%となるように、ジブチル錫ジラウリレートを添加した。この液を80℃に保持しながら、48質量部のイソホロンジイソシアネートを滴下して、ウレタンポリオールを含有する主剤液を得た。このウレタンポリオールの固形分は60質量%であり、水酸基価は87mgKOH/gであり、重量平均分子量は7850であった。この主剤液と、イソホロンジイソシアネート(住友バイエルウレタン社製)を含有する硬化剤液とを、NCO/OHがモル比で1.2となるように混合した。この液に、光安定剤(三共社の商品名「サノールLS770」)、紫外線吸収剤(チバガイギー社の商品名「チヌビン900」)及び蛍光増白剤(チバガイギー社の商品名「ユビテックスOB」)を添加して、塗料組成物を調製した。ウレタン樹脂成分100質量部に対する添加量は、光安定剤が2質量部であり、紫外線吸収剤が2質量部であり、蛍光増白剤が0.2質量部である。
中間層に、50質量部のアイオノマー樹脂(前述のハイミラン1855)、50質量部の他のアイオノマー樹脂(前述のハイミラン1856)、4質量部の二酸化チタン及び0.1質量部の着色剤(ウルトラマリンブルー)からなる樹脂組成物を用いた他は実施例1と同様にして、比較例3のゴルフボールを得た。
ゴルフラボラトリー社のスイングマシンに、メタルヘッドを備えたドライバーを装着した。ヘッド速度が50m/secとなるようにマシン条件を設定し、ゴルフボールを打撃して、打撃直後のボール速度と、飛距離(発射地点から静止地点までの距離)とを測定した。10回の測定の平均値が、下記の表2及び表3に示されている。
上記スイングマシンに、アプローチウエッジを装着した。ヘッド速度が21m/secとなるようにマシン条件を設定し、ゴルフボールを打撃して、打撃直後のスピン速度を測定した。10回の測定の平均値が、下記の表2及び表3に示されている。
上記スイングマシンに、ピッチングウエッジを装着した。クラブヘッドのリーディングエッジでゴルフボールが打撃されるようにマシンの高さを調整した。ヘッド速度が37m/secとなるようにマシン条件を設定し、ゴルフボールを打撃した。ゴルフボールの表面を目視観察し、下記の基準によりシワの程度をAからDの4段階に格付けした。
A:シワがほとんど生じていない。
B:軽微なシワが生じている。
C:大きなシワが生じている。
D:大きなシワが生じ、中間層が露出している。
この結果が、下記の表2及び表3に示されている。
ゴルフボールを45m/sの速度で、繰り返し金属板に衝突させた。下記の基準により耐久性をAからDの4段階に格付けした。
A:衝突回数が150回の段階で割れが生じていない。
B:衝突回数が100回の段階で割れが生じていなかったが、衝突回数が150回の 段階で割れが生じている。
C:衝突回数が50回の段階で割れが生じていなかったが、衝突回数が100回の段 階で割れが生じている。
D:衝突回数が50回の段階で割れが生じている。
6個のゴルフボールについて測定を行った。最も集中した格付けが、下記の表2及び表3に示されている。

Claims (4)
- 球状のコアと、このコアの外側に位置する中間層と、この中間層の外側に位置する補強層と、この補強層の外側に位置するカバーとを備えており、
この中間層の基材ポリマーの主成分がアイオノマー樹脂であり、
この中間層の、ショアD型硬度計で測定された硬度Hmが62以上であり、
このカバーの、ショアD型硬度計で測定された硬度Hcが55以下であり、
このカバーの質量Wcが3.2g以下であり、
このカバーの硬度Hcの質量Wc(g)に対する比(Hc/Wc)が10.0以上であり、
このカバーの基材ポリマーの主成分が熱可塑性ポリウレタンエラストマーであり、
上記補強層の基材ポリマーが熱硬化性樹脂であり、
この熱硬化性樹脂が、ポリアミドアミン若しくはその変性物である硬化剤によってビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂が硬化されて得られる二液硬化型エポキシ樹脂であり、
上記ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂のエポキシ等量と上記硬化剤のアミン活性水素等量との比が、1.0/1.4以上1.0/1.0以下であるゴルフボール。 - 上記カバーの厚みTcが0.6mm以下である請求項1に記載のゴルフボール。
- 上記補強層の厚みが3μm以上50μm以下である請求項1又は2に記載のゴルフボール。
- 上記補強層の引張強さが150kgf/cm2以上500kgf/cm2以下である請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のゴルフボール。
