Claims (2)
- 少なくとも電解質膜とこれを挟持するアノード電極層およびカソード電極層とからなる膜電極接合体と、該膜電極接合体を挟持するガス流路層と、ガス流路層を挟持するセパレータと、からなり、該膜電極接合体および該ガス流路層の周縁に形成され、ガス流路となるマニホールドを備えたガスケットと、からなる燃料電池であって、
前記ガスケットのうち、マニホールドの周囲には第1のシール用突条が形成されており、
前記ガス流路層の端部には切欠きが形成されており、前記ガスケットの端部は、該切欠きを閉塞するとともに、ガス流路層表面から突出して前記第1のシール用突条と同レベルまたはそれ以下の高さを有し、かつ、該第1のシール用突条と同方向に突出する1以上の第2のシール用突条を前記切欠き上となる位置に備えており、
前記セパレータが第1のシール用突条および第2のシール用突条を押しつぶした姿勢で前記ガス流路層に当接され、前記第2のシール用突条とセパレータによって1以上の線状シール構造が形成されている、燃料電池。 - 少なくとも電解質膜とこれを挟持するアノード電極層およびカソード電極層とからなる膜電極接合体と、該膜電極接合体を挟持するガス流路層と、ガス流路層を挟持するセパレータと、からなり、該膜電極接合体および該ガス流路層の周縁に形成され、ガス流路となるマニホールドを備えたガスケットと、からなる燃料電池であって、
前記ガスケットのうち、マニホールドの周囲には第1のシール用突条が形成されており、
前記ガス流路層の端部には切欠きが形成されており、前記ガスケットの端部は、該切欠きを閉塞するとともに、ガス流路層表面と同レベルもしくは該表面から突出する複数の第2のシール用突条を相互に交差した姿勢で、かつ前記切欠き上となる位置に備えており、
前記セパレータが第1のシール用突条を押しつぶした姿勢で前記ガス流路層に当接され、前記相互に交差した第2のシール用突条とセパレータによって面状シール構造が形成されている、燃料電池。
