Claims (3)
- 光ファイバリボンであって、
第1主マトリックスにより包囲された複数の光ファイバを含む第1サブユニットであって、第1端部分と中央部分とを有し、前記第1端部分が前記中央部分よりも厚い球根の形状を有し且つ端に配置された前記光ファイバを覆うように配置されている、第1サブユニットと
第2主マトリックスにより包囲された複数の光ファイバを含み、端部が前記第1サブユニットの第1端部分に隣接するように前記第1サブユニットと並列配置された第2サブユニットと、
並列配置された前記第1サブユニットと第2サブユニットを覆う副マトリックスと、を有し、
前記副マトリックスは、前記第1サブユニットの第1端部分に隣接する場所に局部的最小厚さを有する優先的切り裂き部を備え、
前記第1サブユニットと前記第2サブユニットとを分離する作業時、前記副マトリックスは、前記優先的切り裂き部で割れる、
ことを特徴とする光ファイバリボン。 - 前記局部的最小厚さが、略0ないし5μmの範囲である、
請求項1に記載の光ファイバリボン。 - 前記優先的切り裂き部が、溝部を備えている、
請求項1または2に記載の光ファイバリボン。
