Claims (8)
- アルミ合金から成る円柱状のハウジングに形成されたシリンダ室内に摺動可能なプランジャと、そのプランジャを外方に向けて押圧するスプリングとを組込み、前記ハウジングには前記プランジャの背部に形成された圧力室に連通する給油通路を設け、その給油通路から圧力室内に供給される作動油によってプランジャに付与される押し込み力を緩衝するチェーンテンショナにおいて、前記プランジャの先端部における外周下部に半径方向に延びるロックピンを設け、ハウジングの先端部には小径部を設け、その小径部の外周下部に軸方向に延びる突出部を形成し、その突出部にシリンダ室の軸心に対して交差方向に延びる貫通状のピン孔を設け、そのピン孔によって支持ピンを支持し、その支持ピンによって前記ロックピンに係脱されるロックレバーを揺動自在に支持し、このロックレバーとロックピンの係合によってプランジャを押し込み状態に保持するようにしたことを特徴とするチェーンテンショナ。
- 前記支持ピンをピン孔に圧入して抜け止め支持した請求項1に記載のチェーンテンショナ。
- 前記支持ピンをピン孔に挿入し、その支持ピンの端部の加締めにより支持ピンを抜け止めした請求項1に記載のチェーンテンショナ。
- 前記ロックレバーが、前記ロックピンと係合する係合片の両端部に対向一対の側片を設けたコの字形をなし、その対向一対の側片の端部を支持ピンで揺動自在に支持した請求項1に記載のチェーンテンショナ。
- 前記ロックレバーの対向一対の側片に形成された支持ピン挿入用のピン孔を係合片の方向に長く延びる長孔とした請求項4に記載のチェーンテンショナ。
- 前記ハウジングとプランジャの相互間に、プランジャがシリンダ室の底面に向けて所定量以上に後退動するのを防止する後退動規制手段を設けた請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載のチェーンテンショナ。
- 前記後退動規制手段が、シリンダ室の開口部内周にクリップ収容溝を形成し、そのクリップ収容溝に径方向に弾性変形可能なリング部を有するレジスタクリップを組込み、前記プランジャの外周には前記レジスタクリップで締付けられる複数の円周溝を軸方向に間隔をおいて設け、各円周溝の内周にプランジャの前進時に前記リング部を拡径させるテーパ面と、プランジャの後退時に前記リング部に係合してプランジャの後退動を阻止する係合面とを設けた構成から成る請求項6に記載のチェーンテンショナ。
- 前記後退動規制手段が、前記プランジャに形成された後端が開口するロッド挿入孔の内周に雌ねじを設け、その雌ねじにスクリューロッドの外周に形成された雄ねじをねじ係合し、前記雌ねじと雄ねじのねじ山をプランジャに付与される軸方向の押込み力を受ける圧力側フランクが遊び側フランクのフランク角より大きい鋸歯状とし、その鋸歯状ねじ山にスプリングの弾力によってプランジャが外方向に移動するリード角を設けた構成から成る請求項6に記載のチェーンテンショナ。
