Description
(A)結晶化して液体マトリクス全体に及ぶ糸状の構造化網状組織を形成できる、非ポリマー性、結晶性、ヒドロキシル含有構造化剤;
(B)非イオン性乳化剤;
(C)陰イオン性乳化剤;及び
(D)液体キャリア。
(A)陰イオン性乳化剤と液体キャリアとを予め混合する工程;
(B)非イオン性乳化剤と工程(A)からのプレミックスとを混合する工程;及び
(C)構造化剤と工程(B)からのプレミックスとを混合する工程。
語句「限られた溶解性を有する布地ケア剤」又は「限られた溶解性の布地ケア剤」とは、本明細書で使用する時、溶解度が、脱塩水100g当たり布地ケア剤10g未満、好ましくは5.0g未満である布地ケア剤を意味する。
本発明の構造化システムは4つの必須成分、すなわち構造化剤、非イオン性乳化剤、陰イオン性乳化剤、及び液体キャリアを含む。
本構造化システムは必須の添加成分として構造化剤を含む。構造化剤は好ましくは構造化システムの0.1重量%〜80重量%、より好ましくは0.2重量%〜50重量%、さらにより好ましくは1.0重量%〜10重量%、最も好ましくは2.0重量%〜6.0重量%の濃度で存在する。

(x+a)は11〜17、(y+b)は11〜17、及び(z+c)は11〜17である。好ましくは式中、x=y=z=10であり、及び/又はa=b=c=5である。
本発明の構造化システムはまた、非イオン性乳化剤と陰イオン性乳化剤の両方を含んでいなければならない。非イオン性乳化剤と陰イオン性乳化剤の濃度の合計として定義される乳化剤の総量は、大抵は、構造化システムの少なくとも5重量%、好ましくは少なくとも10重量%、より好ましくは少なくとも15重量%となり、好ましくは構造化システムの50重量%以下、より好ましくは40重量%以下、最も好ましくは30重量%以下となる。陰イオン性乳化剤は、好ましくは構造化システムの0.1重量%〜8.0重量%、より好ましくは0.5重量%〜5.0重量%、さらにより好ましくは1.0重量%〜3.5重量%、最も好ましくは1.5重量%〜2.5重量%の濃度で存在する。
一般に、あらゆる従来の非イオン性乳化剤が使用できる。アルコキシル化非イオン性乳化剤類、特に炭素、水素及び酸素のみを含有するものが、本構造化システムに含めるのに好ましい。ただし、アミド官能性及び他のヘテロ原子官能性の種類もまた使用できる。エトキシル化、プロポキシル化、ブトキシル化又は混合アルコキシル化、例えばエトキシル化/プロポキシル化脂肪族若しくは芳香族ヒドロカルビル鎖非イオン性乳化剤がより好ましい。好適なヒドロカルビル部分は6〜22の炭素原子を含有でき、直鎖、分枝鎖、環状脂肪族又は芳香族であることができ、非イオン性乳化剤は一級又は二級アルコールから誘導することができる。
理論的には、本来、当該技術分野で全て既知の陰イオン性乳化剤を本発明の構造化システムにおいて使用してよい。しかしながら、本発明の構造化システムは好ましくは少なくとも、直鎖アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸のようなスルホン酸乳化剤を含む。ただし、水溶性塩の形態を使用してもよい。
本発明の構造化システムは添加成分として液体キャリアをさらに含む。好適な液体キャリアは、水、1以上の有機溶媒、及びこれらの混合物から成る群より選択できる。好ましい有機溶媒としては、一価アルコール類、二価アルコール類、多価アルコール類、グリセロール、グリコール類、ポリアルキレングリコール類(例えばポリエチレングリコール)、及びこれらの混合物が挙げられる。極めて好ましい有機溶媒は、溶媒の混合物、特に低級脂肪族アルコール類(例えばエタノール、プロパノール、ブタノール、イソプロパノール、及び/若しくは1,2−プロパンジオール又は1,3−プロパンジオールのようなジオール類、若しくはそれらの混合物)とグリセロールとの混合物である。好適なアルコール類としては特にC1〜C4アルコール類が挙げられる。1,2−プロパンジオール又はエタノール、及びこれらの混合物が好ましい。液体キャリアは典型的には組成物の1.0重量%〜98重量%、好ましくは少なくとも10重量%〜95重量%、より好ましくは25重量%〜75重量%の範囲の濃度で存在する。
(pH調整剤)
任意選択意的に、本発明の構造化システムは1以上のpH調整剤を含んでもよい。存在する場合、pH調整剤は典型的に構造化システムの0.05重量%〜50重量%、好ましくは0.2重量%〜10重量%、より好ましくは0.3重量%〜5.0重量%の濃度で存在する。
任意選択的に、本発明の構造化システムは泡抑制剤を含んでもよい。存在する場合、泡抑制剤は典型的に、構造化システムの15重量%未満、好ましくは0.001重量%〜10重量%、より好ましくは0.01重量%〜8重量%、最も好ましくは0.05重量%〜5重量%の濃度で存在する。
本発明のものと類似の構造化システムは、例えばPCT国際公開特許WO00/44339、米国特許第5,972,320号及びGB2291805に開示されているように、パーソナルケア製品、例えば防臭剤及び制汗剤での使用に関して当該技術分野で既知である。
本発明の構造化システムは、あらゆる好適な様式で調製することができ、一般に指定された添加成分の混合又は添加のどのような順序を伴ってもよい。しかしながら、このような調製を達成するためには、特定の好ましい方法が存在することが発見された。
(A)2.0重量%〜6.0重量%の硬化ヒマシ油誘導体類;
(B)10重量%〜40重量%の非イオン性乳化剤;
(C)0.5重量%〜6.0重量%の陰イオン性乳化剤;及び
(D)48重量%〜87.5重量%の液体キャリアを含む。
本発明はまた、特定の種類の液体布地処理組成物に関する。かかる液体布地処理組成物は本発明の構造化システムを、好ましくは組成物の0.1重量%〜50重量%、より好ましくは1.0重量%〜25重量%、さらにより好ましくは2.0重量%〜20重量%、最も好ましくは4.0重量%〜15重量%の濃度で含む。
本発明により企図された種類の布地処理組成物を調製するのに好適な手順は本出願人の同時継続欧州特許出願EP02447167.4及びPCT国際公開特許WO02/18528に開示されている。
本発明の構造化液体布地処理組成物は、液体(水性又は非水性)、ペースト、及びゲルのようないかなる形態であってもよい。カプセル化及び/又は一体化投入組成物(unitized dose compositions)もまた、二つ以上の、分離しているが組み合わせて配給可能な部分を形成する組成物である場合に含まれる。液体組成物はまた、「濃縮された」あるいは希釈された形態であることができる。本発明のさらに好ましい液体布地処理組成物には、重質液体布地処理組成物、及び「標準的な」上質ではない布地、並びにシルクやウール等の上質の布地を洗浄するための液体洗濯洗剤が含められる。与えられた組成物と水とを広範囲の割合で混合することによって形成される組成物も含まれる。本発明の構造化液体布地処理組成物が非水性液体布地処理組成物の形態である場合、該組成物は水溶性フィルム、例えばポリビニルアルコール含有フィルムに組み込まれて、1回用量洗濯製品を形成するのに好適である。
1.55gのC13〜C15アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸を、攪拌しながら53.5gの脱塩水中に入れる。0.42gの水酸化ナトリウムを攪拌しながら加える。40gのC12〜C14ジメチルアミンオキシド(水中の活性物質32%)を攪拌しながら加える。次いで混合物を90℃〜95℃に加熱する。
1.5gのC13〜C15アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸を、攪拌しながら54.1gの脱塩水中に入れる。0.4gの水酸化ナトリウムを攪拌しながら加える。40gのネオドール(Neodol)45−7(1)を攪拌しながら加える。混合物を90℃〜95℃に加熱しながら、4.0gの硬化ヒマシ油を加える。
次にエマルションを、熱交換器を用いて冷却速度2.0℃/minで温度70℃に冷却する。70℃になったら、次にエマルションを、熱交換器を用いて35℃よりも低い温度まで直ちに冷却(「フラッシュ冷却」)する。得られた構造化システムは、全体に渡り懸濁された結晶化硬化ヒマシ油の網状構造を有する。
最終の布地処理組成物は、3つの別個のプレミックス:本明細書の以下に記載するような、81gの布地洗浄プレミックスA1、14gの構造化システムプレミックスB1、及び5gの布地ケアプレミックスC1を組み合わせることによって配合される。第2の布地処理組成物は、81gの布地洗浄プレミックスA2、14gの構造化プレミックスB2及び5gの布地ケアプレミックスC2を組み合わせることによって得られる。

(3)ネオドール(Neodol)25−3:平均で3モル等量のエチレンオキシドにてエトキシル化されたC12〜C15アルコール(ネオドール(Neodol)(登録商標)25−AE3)(シェル(Shell)より)
プレミックスA1、B1、C1を組み合わせることにより、又はプレミックスA2、B2、C2を組み合われることにより得られる液体布地処理組成物は、それぞれ、完全配合組成物として、並びに洗濯サイクル時の希釈形態で、優れた製品安定性を示す。これらの液体布地処理組成物は、布地が中に入れられた後従来の様式で洗濯される自動洗濯機のドラムに加えた場合において、優れた布地洗浄及び布地ケア特性をさらに提供する。
Claims (6)
- 液体布地処理組成物へ組み込むのに好適な構造化システムを調製するための方法であって、
前記構造化システムが、
(i)結晶化して液体マトリクス全体に及ぶ糸状の構造化網状組織を形成できる、非ポリマー性、結晶性、ヒドロキシル含有構造化剤;
(ii)非イオン性乳化剤;
(iii)前記構造化システムの0.1重量%〜8.0重量%の濃度で存在する陰イオン性乳化剤;および
(iV)液体キャリア
を含み、かつ
前記構造化システムが、
(A)前記陰イオン性乳化剤と前記液体キャリアを予め混合する工程;
(B)前記非イオン性乳化剤と工程(A)からのプレミックスとを混合する工程;および
(C)前記構造化剤と工程(B)からのプレミックスとを混合する工程
を含む方法によって形成される、方法。 - 工程(B)からのプレミックスまたは工程(C)から得られる混合物が、室温よりも高い温度に加熱される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(B)からのプレミックスまたは工程(C)から得られる混合物が、前記構造化剤の融点よりも高い温度に加熱される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 工程(C)の完了後に得られる構造化システムが、前記構造化剤の結晶化温度以下の温度に冷却される、請求項2または3に記載の方法。
- 工程(C)の完了後に得られる構造化システムが、冷却速度0.1℃/min〜100℃/minで冷却される、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記構造化システムが、
(i)2.0重量%〜6.0重量%の硬化ヒマシ油誘導体;
(ii)10重量%〜40重量%の非イオン性乳化剤;
(iii)0.5重量%〜6.0重量%の陰イオン性乳化剤;および
(iV)48重量%〜87.5重量%の液体キャリア
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
