Description
前記外装ケースは、第1ケース体と第2ケース体とを含み、
前記第1ケース体と前記第2ケース体とは、相互に接合するための接合壁を外周部に含み、
前記第1ケース体および前記第2ケース体から選ばれる少なくとも一方は、片面に収容部が膨出形成された皿状のケース要素と、前記収容部の膨出壁の周囲に沿って前記ケース要素に固定される補強枠とを含み、
前記収容部の内部には前記電池モジュールが収納され、
前記電池モジュールは、前記第1ケース体の前記接合壁と前記第2ケース体の前記接合壁とを密着接合することにより、前記外装ケースの内部に封入されていることを特徴とする薄型電池を提供する。

Claims (7)
- 電池モジュールと、前記電池モジュールを収容する外装ケースとを備えた薄型電池であって、
前記外装ケースは、第1ケース体と第2ケース体とを含み、
前記第1ケース体と前記第2ケース体とは、相互に接合するための接合壁を外周部に含み、
前記第1ケース体および前記第2ケース体から選ばれる少なくとも一方は、片面に収容部が膨出形成された皿状のケース要素と、前記収容部の膨出壁の周囲に沿って前記ケース要素に固定される補強枠とを含み、
前記補強枠は、プラスチック成形品であり、
前記ケース要素は、金属薄板を素材とするプレス成形品であり、
前記ケース要素は、前記補強枠と一体化して形成されており、
前記収容部の内部には前記電池モジュールが収納され、
前記電池モジュールは、前記第1ケース体の前記接合壁と前記第2ケース体の前記接合壁とを密着接合することにより、前記外装ケースの内部に封入されていることを特徴とする薄型電池。 - 前記収容部の膨出壁に隣接する前記接合壁の外面には、さらに実装領域が形成され、前記実装領域は、前記電池モジュールのための制御モジュールと、前記制御モジュールを保護するカバーとを含んでいる請求項1に記載の薄型電池。
- 前記制御モジュールが、保護回路、出力端子および入力端子を含み、前記実装領域に導出した前記電池モジュールの正極タブと負極タブとに、前記制御モジュールの一対の前記入力端子を接続固定して、前記制御モジュールが前記実装領域に固定されている請求項2に記載の薄型電池。
- 前記外装ケースが角形カード状に形成され、前記外装ケースの一辺部には前記実装領域が設けられ、前記カバーが、前記制御モジュールの外面を覆い隠す主面壁と、前記主面壁の両側端から突出する一対の脚片とを含み、前記主面壁には、前記制御モジュールの前記出力端子を露出させる端子窓が開口している請求項2に記載の薄型電池。
- 前記外装ケースの辺部には、さらに逆挿入防止用の凹部が形成され、前記凹部は、電池を装着する装置の電池挿入部に設けられた逆挿入防止用の凸部と嵌合する請求項1に記載の薄型電池。
- 前記外装ケースの辺部には、さらに脱落防止用の凹部が形成され、前記凹部は、電池を装着する装置に設けられた脱落防止用の凸部と系合する請求項1に記載の薄型電池。
- 電池モジュールと、前記電池モジュールを収容する外装ケースとを備えた薄型電池の製造方法であって、
前記外装ケースは、相互に接合するための接合壁を外周部に備える第1ケース体と第2ケース体とを含み、
前記第1ケース体および前記第2ケース体から選ばれる少なくとも一方は、片面に収容部が膨出形成された皿状のケース要素と、前記収容部の膨出壁の周囲に沿って前記ケース要素に固定される補強枠とを含み、
前記補強枠は、プラスチック成形品であり、前記ケース要素は、金属薄板を素材とするプレス成形品であり、前記ケース要素は、前記補強枠と一体化して形成されており、
前記収容部の内部に前記電池モジュールを収納し、前記電池モジュールを、前記第1ケース体の前記接合壁と前記第2ケース体の前記接合壁とを密着接合することにより、前記外装ケースの内部に封入することを特徴とする薄型電池の製造方法。
