- 動作時、前記光源から発せられた光が、前記光混合パネルの前記光入力縁領域に入射し、前記光混合パネル内に広がり、
- 光を前記光混合パネルから前記発光パネルに転送するための光転送室が、前記光混合パネルと前記発光パネルの間に位置し、
- 前記光混合パネルと前記発光パネルが、互いに実質的に平行に延在するように配置されている、

Claims (17)
- 光源と発光パネルが設けられている、ディスプレイデバイスを照らすための照明システムであって、
- 前記光源が、少なくとも1つの発光ダイオードを有し、
- 前記発光パネルが、前面壁と、当該前面壁の反対側に位置する後面壁と、少なくとも1つの光透過性縁領域とを有し、かつ、
- 前記光透過性縁領域が、前記発光パネルの前記前面壁と前記後面壁の間に位置する、
照明システムにおいて、
- 当該照明システムが、前記光源から発せられた光を混合するための光混合パネルを有し、
- 前記光混合パネルに、前記光源から発せられた光を前記光混合パネルに取り込むための光入力縁領域と、前記光混合パネルから光を取り出すための光出力縁領域とが、設けられ、
- 動作時、前記光源から発せられた光が、前記光混合パネルの前記光入力縁領域に入射し、前記光混合パネル内に広がり、
- 光を前記光混合パネルから前記発光パネルに転送するための光転送室が、前記光混合パネルと前記発光パネルの間に位置し、かつ、
- 前記光混合パネルと前記発光パネルとが、互いに実質的に平行に延在し、かつ、前記発光パネルの後壁面が前記光混合パネルに面するように配置されている
ことを特徴とする、照明システム。 - 前記光転送室が、楕円形状の反射性内壁を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の照明システム。
- - 前記楕円の第一焦点が、前記光混合パネルの前記光出力縁領域内または少なくともその近くに位置し、かつ、
- 前記楕円の第二焦点が、前記発光パネルの前記光透過性縁領域内または少なくともその近くに位置する、
ことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の照明システム。 - 前記光転送室の前記内壁が、少なくとも実質的に円形であり、前記円の中心が、前記光混合パネルの前記光出力縁領域と前記発光パネルの前記光透過性縁領域の間に位置することを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の照明システム。
- 前記光転送室が、2つの光透過プリズムを有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の照明システム。
- 前記光転送室が、多面化された反射性内壁を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の照明システム。
- 前記光源から発せられた光を前記光混合パネルに取り込むための光コリメーティング要素が、前記光源と前記光混合パネルの間に位置することを特徴とする、請求項1、2、7、または8に記載の照明システム。
- 前記光混合パネルが、前記光出力縁領域から遠ざかる方向に狭まることを特徴とする、請求項1、2、7、または8に記載の照明システム。
- 前記光源が、第一、第二、および第三発光波長を有する少なくとも3つの発光ダイオードを有し、当該発光波長が相異なることを特徴とする、請求項1、2、7、または8に記載の照明システム。
- 前記光混合パネルの前記光入力縁領域に対応する前記光源が、青、緑、および赤の発光ダイオード群を有することを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の照明システム。
- 前記光混合パネルが、第一および第二光入力縁領域と第一および第二光出力縁領域とをそれぞれ有する、第一および第二部分を有することと、前記第一および第二光混合パネル部分から前記発光パネルに光を転送するための第一および第二光転送室が、前記第一および第二光混合パネル部分と前記発光パネルの間に位置することとを特徴とする、請求項1、2、7、または8に記載の照明システム。
- 前記光源が、前記第一および第二光混合パネル部分に共通であり、かつ、動作時に、前記光源から発せられた光が、前記第一および第二光入力縁領域の双方に入射することを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の照明システム。」である。
- 前記光源が、前記第一および第二光入力縁領域にそれぞれ結合される第一および第二セクションを有することを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の照明システム。
- 請求項1、2、7、または8に記載の照明システムを有するディスプレイデバイス。
- 前記ディスプレイデバイスが、液晶ディスプレイを有する、請求項16に記載のディスプレイデバイス。
