Description
従って、このカラーフィルタパネル10においては、薄膜トランジスタパネル上のバックライトから出てカラーフィルタ層を通して入射された光が、ガラス基板11の背面の各光分散層パターン15aで分散されるので、各光遮蔽部12aの幅を狭くすることなく、従ってカラーフィルタ層を形成する際に正確なアライメントを要求されることなく、従来のLCD装置の開口率Aより高い開口率Bを得ることができ、鮮明な画像を得ることができ、視野角も広くなる。

Claims (2)
- 透明なガラス基板と、
一定間隔に並設された複数の光遮蔽部からなり、前記ガラス基板の前面上に形成された不透明層と、
各二つの隣接する前記光遮蔽部間に、二つの隣接する光遮蔽部の両端部上に両側部が重なってカラーフィルタが形成されたカラーフィルタ層と、
前記ガラス基板の背面上において、前記前面側の各光遮蔽部に対向して形成され、かつ光遮蔽部より大きく形成され、前記カラーフィルタ層を通して入射された光を分散させる感光膜からなる凸レンズの光分散手段とを具備することを特徴とするLCD装置。 - 前記不透明層はクロム膜、クロム酸化膜および有機質膜のうち一つからなることを特徴とする請求項1記載のLCD装置。
