Abstract

[Problem] To provide a chemical volatilization board that volatilizes chemicals such as insect repellents, fragrances, and deodorants, with as little plastic use as possible from the perspective of protecting the global environment, for many products that volatilize chemicals, such as insect repellents, fragrances, and deodorants, and which uses a liquid chemical in a bottle that volatilizes using a volatilization wick or a case in which a processed chemical in sheet or granular form is placed.
[Solution] A drug sheet 3 is attached to the surface of a board-like base 2, and a frame 4 made of a board-like material is further attached on top of the drug sheet 3 to create a framed drug volatilization board 1, which makes it possible to volatilize the drug without using a plastic bottle or case.

Description

The present invention relates to an article for volatilizing chemicals, such as insect repellents, fragrances, and deodorants, which uses a sheet containing such chemicals in order to volatilize the chemicals over a long period of time.

Products that vaporize chemicals such as insect repellents, air fresheners, and deodorizers, which are hung in closets or wardrobes or placed on shelves, include types in which the chemicals are processed into sheets or granules and placed in a case to vaporize them, and types in which liquid chemicals in a bottle are vaporized using a vaporization wick. However, the cases and bottles for these products that vaporize chemicals are made of plastic, and from the perspective of protecting the global environment, it is desirable to reduce the use of these plastics.

As is clear from the above explanation, the main components of the present invention are pesticide volatilization boards consisting of sheets containing pesticides such as insect repellents, fragrances, and deodorizers, and board-shaped objects made primarily from natural materials, and therefore no plastic cases or bottles are required. Compared to products that volatilize pesticides using plastic cases or bottles, this makes it possible to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide generated when the pesticide volatilization board is incinerated and the amount of microchips generated when the board is discharged into the ocean.

Furthermore, since small drug volatilization boards of similar configuration to the drug volatilization board can be filled inside the frame of the drug volatilization board, it is possible to provide two or more drug volatilization boards of different sizes, shapes, and drug performance in an integrated manner.

Below, a drug volatilization board relating to an embodiment of the present invention will be explained with reference to the drawings.
Reference numeral 1 denotes a framed pesticide volatilization board, which is composed of three members: a base 2, a pesticide sheet 3, and a frame 4. As shown in Fig. 2, the base 2 is a board-like object in which a base board film 2b is coated on a base board 2a, and a pesticide sheet 3, which is a sheet containing a target pesticide such as an insect repellent or an aromatic substance, is attached to the surface of the base board film 2b. Furthermore, the surface of the frame board film 4b of the frame 4, which is coated with the frame board film 4b, is attached to a frame board 4a, which is a board-like object, so as to be in contact with the pesticide sheet 3.

Reference numeral 5 denotes a small pesticide volatilizing board, pesticide volatilizing piece 5, and as shown in Fig. 3, pesticide volatilizing piece 5 is composed of three members, a piece base 6, a piece pesticide sheet 7, and a piece frame 8. As shown in Fig. 4, piece base 6 is a board-like object in which piece base board 6a is coated with piece base board film 6b and piece base board bottom film 6c, and piece pesticide sheet 7, which is a sheet containing the desired pesticide such as an insect repellent or an aromatic agent, is attached to the surface of piece base board film 6a. Furthermore, the surface of frame board film 8b of piece frame 8, which is coated with piece frame board film 8b, is attached to piece frame board 8a, which is a board-like object, so as to contact with the piece pesticide sheet 7.

Figure 5 shows that while the framed drug volatilization board 1 is being filled with drug volatilization pieces 5, three drug volatilization pieces 5 have already been filled inside the framed drug volatilization board 1, and three drug volatilization pieces 5 remain that have not yet been filled.

The role of the frame 4 is not only to prevent contact between the base 2 and the drug sheet 3 when the drug volatilization boards of the present invention are stacked, or to prevent contact between the drug sheets 3 and maintain a gap, but also to prevent the drug volatilization pieces 5 filled therein from moving and falling off the drug volatilization board during transportation of the drug volatilization board or when it is removed from the packaging, and the role of the piece frame 8 is to prevent contact between the base 2 and the piece drug sheet 7 when the drug volatilization boards of the present invention are stacked, or to maintain a gap to prevent contact between the piece drug sheets 7 and the piece drug sheets 7.

The board-like objects of the present invention, namely the base board 2a, frame board 4a, piece base board 6a, and piece frame board 8a, are paperboard made primarily from wood pulp, a natural material, and the pesticide sheet 3 and piece pesticide sheet 7 are nonwoven sheets containing the desired pesticides, such as insect repellents and fragrances.

The base board film 2b, frame board film 4b, piece base board film 6b, piece base board bottom film 6c, and piece frame board film 8b of the present invention are polyester films coated on the board-shaped objects base board 2a, frame board 4a, piece base board 6a, and piece frame board 8a to prevent direct contact between the board-shaped objects base board 2a, frame board 4a, piece base board 6a, and piece frame board 8a and the drug sheet 3 or piece drug sheet 7.

In order to make it possible to understand at a glance the functions of the framed drug volatilization board 1 and the drug volatilization pieces 5, the drug sheet 3 and the piece drug sheet 7 have the functions of the drug indicated by application of paint or by pictures or patterns made from paint.

Reference numeral 9 denotes a holder 9 for mounting the chemical vaporization board 1, and as shown in Fig. 6, it has a groove 10 that matches the width of the chemical vaporization board 1, and the chemical vaporization board 1 can be mounted simply by inserting the chemical vaporization board 1 into the groove 10. The holder 9 has a screw hole 11 for mounting to the ceiling or wall of a closet or wardrobe.

Although the embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the present invention includes modifications to the specific configuration within the scope of the present invention without departing from the scope of the present invention.
For example, in an embodiment of the present invention, the shape of the framed drug volatilization board 1 and the drug volatilization piece 5 do not have to be rectangular, but can be circular, diamond-shaped, or shaped like an animal or fish, and the shape is not particularly important.

Regarding board-like products, paperboard made primarily from wood pulp is preferable, but paperboard made from or mixed with plant fibers such as hemp, bamboo, straw, cotton, or recycled paper may also be used. Wood boards or cardboard made from solidified wood powder, hard nonwoven fabrics or felt, or hard fiber boards made from recycled fibers obtained by crushing such nonwoven fabrics or felts may also be used.

As the material for the drug-containing drug sheet 3 and piece drug sheet 7, bulky paper or woven fabric can be used in addition to nonwoven fabric, and as the raw material, not only cellulose-based fibers but also chemical fibers such as polyester fibers and polypropylene fibers can be used or mixed, and the drug sheet 3 and piece drug sheet 7 are impregnated or coated with a drug according to the purpose, and pyrethroid-based drugs are mainly used as insect repellents, and ester-based drugs are mainly used as fragrances. Also, in order to adjust the volatilization rate or add different types of drugs, microencapsulated drugs may be applied to the drug sheet 3 and piece drug sheet 7.

The films used on the surfaces in contact with the drug sheet 3 and the piece drug sheet 7 to prevent the aforementioned drugs from being absorbed into the base or frame board are made of nylon film, polypropylene film, etc., which has the permeation prevention properties of the target drug, and the thickness should also be suitable for preventing permeation of the drug.

Regarding the installation of the pesticide volatilization board of the present invention, the pesticide volatilization board may be provided with holes or hooks that can be used to hang it from a pole for hanging hangers installed in a closet or wardrobe.

The pesticide volatilization board of the present invention is not only useful for environmental conservation because the main raw materials that make up the pesticide volatilization board are natural materials, but it also makes it possible to provide two or more integrated pesticide volatilization boards with different sizes, shapes, and pesticide performance.

Claims (5)

A drug volatilization board characterized in that a sheet containing a drug is affixed to the upper surface of a resin film of a board-like object having at least one side coated with a resin film, and further, the resin film surface of a board-like object frame having at least one side coated with a resin film is affixed to the upper surface of the drug-containing sheet so that it is in contact with the resin film surface. A drug volatilization board characterized in that the inside of the frame of the drug volatilization board described in claim 1 is filled with one or more small drug volatilization boards, each of which has a sheet containing a drug affixed to at least one side of a board-like object coated on at least one side with a resin film, and further has one or more small drug volatilization boards affixed so that the resin film surface of a board-like object frame coated on at least one side with a resin film is in contact with the upper surface of the sheet containing the drug. 3.
