Abstract
【解決手段】
電力変換器は、スイッチング素子と、電流センサと、冷却器と、コントローラを備えている。スイッチング素子は、電源の出力電力を走行用モータの駆動電力に変換する。電流センサは、スイッチング素子の出力電流が流れるバスバに取り付けられており、出力電流を計測する。冷却器は、スイッチング素子を冷却する。コントローラは、冷媒温度に基づいて電流センサの推定温度を特定する。コントローラは、スイッチング素子の出力電流と入力電圧に基づいて推定温度の第1補正値と第2補正値を特定する。コントローラは、推定温度に第1補正値と第2補正値を加えた補正後温度が温度閾値を超えたらスイッチング素子の負荷を制限する。

Claims (3)
- 電源の出力電力を走行用モータの駆動電力に変換する電力変換器であり、
前記出力電力を前記駆動電力に変換するスイッチング素子と、
前記スイッチング素子の出力電流が流れるバスバに取り付けられており、前記出力電流を計測する電流センサと、
前記スイッチング素子を冷却する冷却器と、
前記冷却器の冷媒温度を計測する温度センサと、
前記スイッチング素子を制御するコントローラと、
を備えており、
前記コントローラは、
前記冷媒温度に基づいて前記電流センサの推定温度を特定し、
前記出力電流に基づいて前記推定温度の第1補正値を特定するとともに、前記スイッチング素子に印加される入力電圧に基づいて前記推定温度の第2補正値を特定し、
前記推定温度に前記第1補正値と前記第2補正値を加えた補正後温度が所定の温度閾値を超えたら前記スイッチング素子の負荷を制限する、電気自動車用の電力変換器。 - 前記コントローラは、雰囲気温度に基づいて前記冷却器を制御する、請求項1に記載の電力変換器。
- 前記コントローラは、前記冷媒温度と前記推定温度の関係を表した第1マップと、前記出力電流と前記第1補正値の関係を表した第2マップと、前記入力電圧と前記第2補正値の関係を表した第3マップを記憶している、請求項1または2に記載の電力変換器。
