Claims (18)
- 電池膨れ(swelling)検知システムであって、
バッテリーパックの一つ以上のバッテリーモジュールの各々に複数で備えられ、前記バッテリーモジュールのバッテリーセルから分岐するガスを検知する検知部、
前記検知部の各々の検知値のうち大きさが最も大きい検知値を選定し、選定された検知値の大きさに応じて前記選定された検知値のレベルを決定し、前記レベルに基づいて周辺装置の動作を制御する制御部、及び
前記バッテリーパックと外部電源の連結経路上に提供され、前記制御部の信号に応じてオン及びオフ動作するスイッチ部を備えてなることを特徴とする、電池膨れ(swelling)検知システム。 - 前記検知部は、前記バッテリーモジュール内部の上下、左右、前後に散開して位置することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池膨れ検知システム。
- 前記検知部の各々は、一酸化炭素検知センサ、二酸化炭素検知センサ及びメタン検知センサを備えてなり、
前記検知値は、一酸化炭素検知値、二酸化炭素検知値及びメタン検知値を一つのセット(set)にして構成されてなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池膨れ検知システム。 - 前記制御部は、前記検知部の各々の検知値を所定の閾値と比較し、前記閾値を超過する検知値のうち大きさが最も大きい検知値を選定し、選定された検知値の大きさに応じて前記選定された検知値のレベルを決定することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池膨れ検知システム。
- 前記選定された検知値のレベルは、膨れ危険度に応じて、第1レベル、第2レベル及び第3レベルの何れか一つに決定されることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の電池膨れ検知システム。
- 前記制御部は、前記選定された検知値のレベルが前記第1レベル、第2レベル及び第3レベルの何れか一つに決定された場合、前記レベルに基づく車両速度制御信号を車両のECU(Electronic Control Unit)に送信することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池膨れ検知システム。
- 前記制御部は、前記選定された検知値のレベルが前記第3レベルに決定された場合、所定時間の経過後に前記スイッチ部にオフ動作信号を送信することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池膨れ検知システム。
- 前記制御部は、前記選定された検知値のレベルが前記第3レベルに決定された場合、車両に既に設けられたディスプレイ装置に所定の通知信号を送信することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池膨れ検知システム。
- 前記制御部は、前記選定された検知値のレベルが前記第2レベルに決定された場合、前記外部電源から前記バッテリーパックに流入する充電電流量を制御することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池膨れ検知システム。
- 電池膨れ(swelling)検知方法であって、
バッテリーパックの一つ以上のバッテリーモジュールの各々に複数で備えられる検知部が、前記バッテリーモジュールのバッテリーセルから分岐するガスを検知するステップ、
制御部が、前記検知部の各々の検知値のうち大きさが最も大きい検知値を選定し、選定された検知値の大きさに応じて前記選定された検知値のレベルを決定し、前記レベルに基づいて周辺装置の動作を制御するステップ、及び
前記バッテリーパックと外部電源の連結経路上に提供されるスイッチ部が、前記制御部の信号に応じてオン及びオフ動作するステップを含むことを特徴とする、電池膨れ検知方法。 - 前記検知部は、前記バッテリーモジュール内部の上下、左右、前後に散開して位置することを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の電池膨れ検知方法。
- 前記検知部の各々は、一酸化炭素検知センサ、二酸化炭素検知センサ及びメタン検知センサを備えてなり、
前記検知値は、一酸化炭素検知値、二酸化炭素検知値及びメタン検知値を一つのセット(set)にして構成されてなることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の電池膨れ検知方法。 - 前記制御するステップは、前記制御部が、前記検知部の各々の検知値を所定の閾値と比較し、前記閾値を超過する検知値のうち大きさが最も大きい検知値を選定し、選定された検知値の大きさに応じて前記選定された検知値のレベルを決定することを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の電池膨れ検知方法。
- 前記選定された検知値のレベルは、膨れ危険度に応じて、第1レベル、第2レベル及び第3レベルの何れか一つに決定されることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の電池膨れ検知方法。
- 前記制御するステップは、前記選定された検知値のレベルが前記第1レベル、第2レベル及び第3レベルの何れか一つに決定された場合、前記レベルに基づく車両速度制御信号を車両のECU(Electronic Control Unit)に送信するステップを含むことを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の電池膨れ検知方法。
- 前記制御するステップは、前記選定された検知値のレベルが前記第3レベルに決定された場合、所定時間の経過後に前記スイッチ部にオフ動作信号を送信するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の電池膨れ検知方法。
- 前記制御するステップは、前記選定された検知値のレベルが前記第3レベルに決定された場合、車両に既に設けられたディスプレイ装置に所定の通知信号を送信するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の電池膨れ検知方法。
- 前記制御するステップは、前記選定された検知値のレベルが前記第2レベルに決定された場合、前記外部電源から前記バッテリーパックに流入する充電電流量を制御するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の電池膨れ検知方法。
