Claims (16)
- 血液注入口及び血液排出口を備えた筐体と、
前記血液注入口と流体連結するスパイラルボリュートと、
酸素付加繊維束と、
を備え、
前記スパイラルボリュートは、前記酸素付加繊維束の外周の周りに広がる内部空洞を画定し、
前記内部空洞は、幅が前記スパイラルボリュートの第一端から第二端まで減少し、前記酸素付加繊維束の外面に血液を均等に分配するように構成されている、
血液酸素付加装置。 - 前記第二端は、前記第一端から300°の位置に位置付けられる、請求項1に記載の血液酸素付加装置。
- 前記筐体はガス吸気口をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の血液酸素付加装置。
- 前記ガス吸気口は、前記筐体内の前記繊維束の下方に位置付けられた下部ガス室と流体連結する、請求項3に記載の血液酸素付加装置。
- 前記下部ガス室は、前記繊維束の個々の内腔にガスを供給するように構成される、請求項4に記載の血液酸素付加装置。
- 前記繊維束は、上部ポッティングと下部ポッティングをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の血液酸素付加装置。
- 前記血液注入口に接続された血液ポンプをさらに有する、請求項1に記載の血液酸素付加装置。
- 前記血液ポンプは前記筐体の内部にある、請求項7に記載の血液酸素付加装置。
- 前記酸素付加繊維束の外面と、前記筐体の内壁と前記酸素付加繊維束の外面との間に設けられた環状空間と、の間に熱交換要素をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の血液酸素付加装置。
- 前記筐体の底部から前記酸素付加繊維束内の中央の内腔を通って、直角に伸びるガイド構造物をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の血液酸素付加装置。
- 前記酸素付加繊維束の外面から前記酸素付加繊維束を通って流れた血液を受け取って、その血液を前記血液排出口に向かわせるように構成された、中央の内腔を前記酸素付加繊維束内にさらに含む、請求項1に記載の血液酸素付加装置。
- 前記スパイラルボリュートは、血液が、前記内部空洞から、前記筐体の内壁と前記酸素付加繊維束の外面との間に設けられた環状空間に入ることを可能にする開口をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の血液酸素付加装置。
- 前記スパイラルボリュートの前記開口は徐々に大きくなり、最終的に前記環状空間に結合される、請求項12に記載の血液酸素付加装置。
- 前記血液注入口の内側端部の第1の高さ寸法から、前記酸素付加繊維束の放射状の吸収部の高さ寸法に等しい第2の高さ寸法まで、垂直に広がる血流移行領域をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の血液酸素付加装置。
- 血液酸素付加装置を使用して、血液を酸素化する方法であって、
注入口から血液の流れを受け取って、前記血液の流れを、内部空洞を画定するスパイラルボリュートに導き、
前記内部空洞は、幅が前記スパイラルボリュートの第一端から第二端まで減少し、酸素付加繊維束の外面に血液を均等に分配するように構成されていて、
血液は、前記スパイラルボリュートから前記酸素付加繊維束を通って中央の内腔に流れ、前記酸素付加繊維束を通って前記中央の内腔に流れるときに酸素化され、
前記中央の内腔に接続された血液排出口から血液を排出する、
方法。 - 前記血液が前記酸素付加繊維束を通って流れ、実質的に均一な血流が分配される、請求項15に記載の方法。
