前記音響受信機によって、チュービングセットに沿った第一の位置において振動信号が受信されたか否かを検知するステップ、
チュービングセットが第一の位置と第二の位置の間で連続しているかを確認するステップ、ここでチュービングセットは、前記検知するステップにおいて前記振動センサが振動信号を検知すれば、連続していると確認され、
前記インジケータは、チュービングセットの連続性が確認された時に前記合図を発生することを特徴とするチュービングセットの連続性を確認する方法。 - 前記第二の位置においてチュービングセットと接触する信号送信機を供給するステップをさらに含み、前記送信機が前記誘起するステップを遂行することを特徴とする請求項18記載のチュービングセットの連続性検出方法。
- 請求項19記載のチュービングセットの連続性検出方法であって、さらに、
前記送信機からの振動信号の一つ又はより多くの特徴を前記受信機へ通信するステップと、
一つ又はより多くの特徴を傾聴(listening)するステップの間に受信した振動信号と比較するステップとを含み、
前記確認するステップは、もし前記受信した信号が前記一つ又はより多くの通信された特徴に合致すれば、チュービングセットが連続していると確認することを特徴とする請求項19記載のチュービングセットの連続性検出方法。 - 前記誘起するステップは、臨床家がチュービングセットをタップする(tapping)ことによる、手動の振動信号の誘起を含むことを特徴とする請求項18記載のチュービングセットの連続性検出方法。
