Abstract

Claims (18)
- 回線交換呼の確立時にLTE無線アクセス技術ネットワークによるパケット交換セッションを維持すると共に前記パケット交換セッションの伝送を前記回線交換呼の伝送と多重化するように構成されていることを特徴とする無線端末(30)。
- 前記無線端末が前記回線交換呼の少なくとも一部の間に前記パケット交換セッションを維持するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の無線端末。
- 前記回線交換呼を確立すると共に前記回線交換呼の前記伝送を制御するように構成された回線交換呼コントローラ(42)と、
前記回線交換呼の前記確立時に前記パケット交換セッションの前記伝送を含む前記パケット交換セッションを確立してこれを維持するように構成されたパケット交換セッションコントローラ(44)と、
前記回線交換呼の前記伝送及び前記パケット交換セッションの前記伝送を含む無線インタフェースを介した伝送を実行するように構成された通信インタフェース(40)と、
を含む、請求項1に記載の無線端末。 - 前記パケット交換セッションコントローラ(44)が、前記回線交換呼の前記確立時に、
前記LTEネットワークのノードから、前記回線交換呼に対応するための回線交換ネットワークに移るための指示を受信し、
ルーティングエリア更新及び組み合わせルーティングエリア/ロケーションエリア更新を実行せず、
前記LTEネットワークにおいてパケット交換ベアラを再確立する、
ように構成されている、請求項3に記載の無線端末。 - 前記パケット交換呼コントローラが、前記回線交換呼の前記確立時に、
前記LTEネットワークのノードから、前記回線交換呼に対応するための回線交換ネットワークに移るための指示を受信し、
ロケーションエリア(LA)更新を実行するが、ルーティングエリア更新又は組み合わせルーティングエリア/ロケーションエリア更新を実行しない、
ように構成されている、請求項3に記載の無線端末。 - LTE無線アクセス技術ネットワーク及び回線交換ネットワークによる通信を行うように構成された無線端末(30)を動作させる方法であって、
前記回線交換ネットワークによる回線交換呼を確立することを含み、
前記方法が、
前記回線交換呼の確立時にLTE無線アクセス技術ネットワークによるパケット交換セッションを維持すること、及び、前記回線交換呼の前記確立時に、
前記パケット交換セッションの伝送及び前記回線交換呼の伝送を多重化することを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記回線交換呼の少なくとも一部の間に前記パケット交換セッションを維持することを更に含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記回線交換呼の前記確立時に、前記無線端末が、
ルーティングエリア更新及び組み合わせルーティングエリア/ロケーションエリア更新を実行せず、
前記LTEネットワークにおいてパケット交換ベアラを再確立する、
ことを更に含む、請求項6に記載の方法。 - 前記無線端末が、
前記回線交換呼の前記確立時に回線交換ネットワークのためのパケット交換ベアラを一時停止することと、
前記回線交換呼の終了後に前記パケット交換ベアラを再開することと、
を実行しない、請求項8に記載の方法。 - 前記回線交換呼の前記確立時に、前記無線端末が、
前記LTEネットワークのノードから、前記回線交換呼に対応するための回線交換ネットワークに移るための指示を受信し、
ロケーションエリア(LA)更新を実行するが、ルーティングエリア更新又は組み合わせルーティングエリア/ロケーションエリア更新を実行しない、
請求項6に記載の方法。 - 無線端末(30)を伴う回線交換呼の確立時に前記無線端末によりパケット交換セッションを維持するように構成されていることを特徴とする、LTEネットワークの基地局ノード(28)。
- 前記ノードが、前記パケット交換セッションのパケット交換ベアラを解放することなく、前記回線交換呼に対応するための回線交換ネットワークに移るように前記無線端末に指示するように構成されたコントローラを含む、請求項11に記載の装置。
- LTEネットワークの基地局ノード(28)を動作させる方法であって、
無線端末(30)によりパケット交換セッションに関与することを含み、
前記方法が、
前記無線端末を伴う回線交換呼の確立時に前記無線端末によりパケット交換セッションを維持することを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記パケット交換セッションのパケット交換ベアラを解放することなく回線交換ネットワークに移るように前記無線端末に指示することによって、更に、前記パケット交換セッションの解放を要求しないことによって、前記パケット交換セッションを維持することを更に含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 回線交換ネットワーク及びLTE無線アクセス技術ネットワークを含む通信システムを動作させる方法であって、
無線端末と前記LTEネットワークとの間でパケット交換セッションを確立することとを含み、
前記方法が、
前記パケット交換セッションの間に、前記無線端末と前記回線交換ネットワークとの間で回線交換呼を確立することと、
前記回線交換呼の確立時に、前記LTE無線アクセス技術ネットワークによる前記パケット交換セッションを維持することと、
前記パケット交換セッションの伝送と前記回線交換呼の伝送を多重化することと、
を特徴とする、方法。 - 前記回線交換呼の少なくとも一部の間に前記パケット交換セッションを維持することを更に含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記回線交換呼の前記確立時に、
前記LTEネットワークのノードが、前記回線交換呼に対応するための回線交換ネットワークに移るように前記無線端末に指示し、
前記無線端末が、ルーティングエリア更新及び組み合わせルーティングエリア/ロケーションエリア更新を実行せず、
前記無線端末が、前記LTEネットワークにおいてパケット交換ベアラを再確立する、
ことを更に含む、請求項15に記載の方法。 - 前記無線端末が、ロケーションエリア(LA)更新を実行するが、ルーティングエリア更新又は組み合わせルーティングエリア/ロケーションエリア更新を実行しないことを更に含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
