Abstract
【解決手段】画像形式に対してパターン化された湿し液32の層を用いる可変データリソグラフィシステム10では、画像が基材14に転写される前に、湿し液32を取り除く。運転コスト及び環境廃棄物を削減するために、取り除かれる湿し液32を集め再使用する。インク36を塗布し、湿し液32を取り除いた後に、交換液50を塗布する。この交換液50は、前に湿し液32が占有した領域を、優先的に占有し、転写ニップを潤滑する。次いで、印刷後、基材14に転写されなかった全ての交換液50及びインク36は、新しい湿し液層、及びその後のパターン化形状が形成される前に、印刷画像担体から取り除く。

Claims (4)
- 可変データリソグラフィシステム内で使用するための交換液サブシステムであって、
印刷画像受け面に塗布され、パターン化された湿し液の層を形成する湿し液が、湿し液の層内の間隙に塗布されたインクに対して、最低限の変更しかしない状態で、前記印刷画像受け面から取り除かれ得るように配置される湿し液抽出サブシステムと、
それにより、塗布される交換液が、前記湿し液抽出サブシステムにより、取り除かれる前に前記湿し水が元々占有していた前記印刷画像受け面上の領域に、優先的に塗布され得るよう配置される交換液塗布サブシステムであって、前記交換液は、前記間隙内に塗布される前記インクに対して最小限の変更しかしない状態で、塗布される、交換液塗布サブシステムと、を含む、交換液サブシステム。 - 前記湿し液抽出サブシステムと連絡接続し、前記湿し液抽出サブシステムにより取り除かれる湿り液を受け、格納する容器をさらに含む請求項1に記載の交換液サブシステム。
- 前記湿し液抽出サブシステムと連絡接続し、前記湿し液抽出サブシステムにより取り除かれる湿し液を処理して、前記リサイクリング装置に連絡接続した湿し液塗布サブシステムが前記処理される湿し液を前記印刷画像受け面に塗布出来るようにするリサイクリング装置をさらに含む請求項1に記載の交換液サブシステム。
- 前記リサイクリング装置は、インクやその他の汚染物を前記湿し水から取り除くことにより、前記湿し液を処理するよう設定される、請求項3に記載の交換液サブシステム。
